I couldn't get Becky the skirt in Birmingham as they didn't have her size, so she tried on a bigger one (just to see how it looked) and I've ordered it on-line for her - so hopefully that's all my holiday shopping done (that's wishful thinking ). This is the skirt she's after -

After looking around the shops, Paul took us to dinner at my fave Italian, so I'm really chuffed that I don't have to cook or wash up today

Hi all! I went to the Franklin Institute again today w/my mom and the boys! Nothing super eventful!

I still need to read along the thread and catch up a bit, I'll try to do that after my mom goes home...

I probably won't be around for sailaway - but, this time in 5 weeks we'll probably be at our mandatory safety drill! CAN'T WAIT! LOL

BTW - Betty - LOVE the FE, I should've paid you theh $15 to make one for me! You really did an awesome job!

I'll be one of those people in just over a year! I also finished up my shopping for fish extender gifts. I am excited to be able to share them! August needs to hurry up and get here!

so you will be in Cocoa Beach from Thurs to Sunday before the cruise? We are going to be there some time on Saturday as we are driving down from PA with a stop in NC to hunt rocks. At this point is just Tom and I and Sami the little one, the others are coming on the train and staying in OKW Saturday night.

Great job on the FE. I am kind of stuck on the pockets, I may try what you did. I had to put it aside to help DD Sami with craft, photo and baking projects for the local fair. She made a switch plate out covered in Sculpy clay , a Shoe box float that had Penguins reading books on it out of Model magic, a pressed flower picture with flowers she pressed with her grandmom. Then Friday night we ran around town taking pictures and printing them out. Hed to drop them off Saturday morning. Sunday we made chocolate fudge ( twice as the first batch was bad), great triple chocolate chip cookies, and caramels that cam out great!! First ?I dropped 2 wood cutting boards on my foot and thought I was going to pass out it hurt so bad!, then Sam tripped and dropped the gallon size of Vanilla and the bottle broke. Sam just stood and let half the bottle leak out ,making a huge mess on the floor. I took the rest and put it in the used corn syrup bottle and a plastic water bottle. I did not put a lid on it becasue I was stirring the caramel. Niki got up at noon and spilled the rest of the bottle as she was making lunch!! When I made the fudge there was a bit extra so I put it in a crockery bowl. Later I was trying to clean up and knocked the bowl on the floor, braking the bowl, ruining the fudge and spilling yet more vanilla!!! And if this wasn't enough fun for one day, I took Nicole out for her first driving lesson!!! She got her permit on Friday!!!

Good Morning,

We are home right now and have to head back up to Wyomissing again this afternoon for a game tonight.

The boys played great on Saturday, winning both of their games easily. Sunday they lost their 1st game and in the 2nd night game last night, they were winning 8-1 in the bottom of the 6th when a really bad lightning storm blew through. The umpires wanted to wait it out, but the other team said they didn't want to stay and would forfeit at that score. We got home around 11:30. The boys started a football camp this morning from 9-12. We are all pretty tired and if the camp wasn't pre paid and expensive they'd have skipped it.

It was a round robin tournament over the weekend and tonight the top 4 teams with the best record play. Keegan's team is ranked 2nd and they play the 3rd place team, which is the same team they played last night. If they are to win again tonight, they will play tomorrow night for the state title. They would most likely play the 1st ranked team, which is the team they lost to yesterday morning. They could have beat them, but they fell apart in the start of the game and honestly played the worst they've ever played. I think they were really intimidated because that's the team that won their entire age group world series last year. It was also insanely hot out which didn't help.

We really loved all the shopping in Reading/Wyomissing. They have tons and tons and tons of new stores. We got a lot of new school clothes. I think they'll need new shoes and that's about it. Our hotel was really nice and the boys loved the pool and the fact that there was a Hooters 50 feet from the back entrance. I had never been to one and the entire team decided to go for wings late Saturday night after swimming until 10:00PM. The food was actually not that bad and the boys sure had a blast. They wound up getting their "PA State Tournament" shirts signed by several of the Hooter girls. I'm uploading pictures from the weekend and will have to post a couple later.

Good Morning ladies!!!

Just had to tell ya - the DIET starts again today - it is monday ya know! LOL I brought oatmeal for breakfast, and sandwich for lunch, and some fruit and cut up veggies for a snack, 4 bottles of water, and one SMALL can of diet pepsi! So, I am good for the day - when I get home is a different story! LOL

Anyway, here is my lame attempt at catching up!!!! I apologize in advance if I miss anyone!

Laurie - great pictures!! You're already packed - good then I don't feel so crazy dragging out the suitcases.

I need to go through our summer clothes (not like we can wear them here - its been raining since June) and decide what we need and wash them since the last time they surfaced was last September when we were in Disney World.

We give the words Pasty Northerner a new meaning here. You'll have to wear sunglasses to cut down the blinding white when looking at us.

Sandra - don't get crazy now - I am semi-packed - looks like a bomb went off in my spare room, but at least it's all there... some things need to be ironed. I still need to do Dominic's though.. my friend was laughing at me because I started packing for my trip that's a month away, but it's VERY time consuming!!!!!!!

I can't believe the weather by you is so NOT nice!

So I did it.. The Park tickets have been purchased! Mark was right.. There was no way I could stay at the BC and not go to a park! I think we will do highlights... Sarah is begging to go on the Great Movie Ride.. She loves that thing.. She rode it 8 times when we were there in Nov! I of course have to ride Soarin, Splash Mountain, Pirates and Haunted Mansion...

WOO HOO on getting the tix!! How many days did you get? We are only going to be at WDW the day after the cruise, so I think we are just going to get a one-day one park ticket to Magic Kingdom~ Haunted Mansion and Pirates are two of our favs too!!!!

If we didn't have plans with one of Taylor's friends to go to the movies tomorrow we would meet you there. We want to go back to see the exhibit too! I always have to pry Taylor out of that place. Did you get a chance to see it all? The membership is so worth the money. Sign up to get their emails. They have some great things free sometimes for members only. Let me know when you plan to go back and we'll try to meet up with you there.

Your pictures are great. Downtown Philadelphia is fun! There is always something fun to do.

I'm getting closer to packing. All of my suitcases are out and like you I keep putting things in the spare bedroom. Taylor is wearing white tank top, black skirt, red and white scarf on her waist and her pirate mickey ears. I might wear something simular minus the mickey ears. As for dress up night, I will probably wear a sundress or something like that I haven't decided.

OMG - out of control!!! Did you figure that out all by yourself OR do you have a counter for that? If you figured it out on your own - you have WAY too much time on your hands girlfriend!

I am happy to report that I stayed clear of all foliage last night. It was a pretty mellow evening.We had about 25 people and TONS of food.Everybody brought stuff with them. My one neighbor brought some kind of strawberry koolaid with vodka that was really good

I hate sitting out in the heat - just hate it! LOL But, I do like having a tan - guess I can't have it both ways..... Oh, well!

Well done for getting back on track today with the diet Good Luck. Yes my diet has started again today (well it is Monday ) Kerry and Becky have gone all healthy on me, so I might as well join them and try not to eat any chocolate or snacks

It sounds like you've had a fun weekend with your visits to the FI and partying with your friends - I hope you saved some Sangria for me (low calorie of course )

I wouldn't know where Vero Beach is either, I'll have to do a google search. It would be so funny if I was waving to you from twopalms

The weather is going to be nice this week (about time), so I've cut my lawn and I'm hoping to be outside tomorrow

My mum is doing great thanks. She's having the cast taken off on Wednesday and she's hoping to be going shopping on Thursday

I apologize in advance because I have no time at all to try and catch up. I'm finally home, got in a little after 10 pm last night. Magic Meets was very fun, the raised over $19,000 for the Make-a-Wish foundation and then Lou Mongello kicked in more to make it an even $20,000. What wonderful giving people.

I will try to check in and do a catch up tonight, right now I have to go and catch up on all the work I missed while I was away. See everyone later.
