Mandy- hope your mom's foot gets better quickly. Way to go on your exercising today. I'm glued to the computer working. So I watched Dr Who last night and loved it. You were right the end was very sad. I can't wait to watch it w/ Ian when he gets home he'll love it too. As for the meet, I am easy, wherever the majority decides to go I will follow

Laurie- thanks for the laughs this morning I loved your email. Hope work isn't too busy today and that you have a great time at the game tonight. WTG with your WW. I hope I can do as well. My will power is also non-existent past the first day.

Michele- your work is always so exciting. Will you be around to chat with today? How did things go getting Nicole up and out for her 1st day of school? Is your thumb all better now or still sore?

Jen- How are the kids feeling today? Great I hope. Hope you're having good weather, it looks beautiful here but it must be hot because the air keeps coming on. I haven't ventured outside yet.

Diane- I will be glad to have Tori and Bethany do something w/ Nicole. We are planning to deliver our gifts on Pirate day/night.

Danielle- glad your window is getting fixed, I'm sure it will be nice to be driving your own vehicle again

It was pouring all afternoon so we ended up watching a bunch of our video tapes from our Med cruise last year. It was a year ago today that we set sail on that cruise. We'd love to go back to the Med, especially if DCL takes one of their new ships there.

Mandy, I hope your mom's foot is feeling better. As far as a meeting place for a dismeet, on our other cruises we all met near the one of the kid's pools so the kids could continue to swim and we'd be near an adult beverage distribution location. We're fine with where ever though.

I love watching my old Cruise videos, we've got some great memories on them, and a few classic moments, like the time Becky was trying to push Paul off a hammock at Castaway Cay and it broke, her face was a picture as she walked away laughing

So, we need a pool and a bar, so the Goofy Pool would be best, but I doubt we'd have anywhere to sit, not that I mind, I'm happy to prop up the bar

This is my first cruise so it would be nice to meet with all of you I don't really care where we meet although Sunday I will probably be so pre-occupied with my wedding the next day but if you tell me where you are meeting I will definetly stop by to have a drink and say hello!!!

Oh you must meet up Heather, even if it's just for a quick Bahama Mama

I think 2:30 by a pool would be great, maybe with an alternate place in case of rain.

Laurie, I just got off the phone with work yelling at the girl who makes my schedule...she scheduled me to work on saturday . I requested off and she still put me on. It is fixed now but man she was difficult...lol.I told her i am meeting my twin for the first time and i have to be off.... .

Sandy, My thumb is black and blue but doesn't hurt anymore...it looks gross the nail is falling off..ick.

Heather, the rain gods were unkind to me on my wedding..it was february and should have snowed but i got rain...

Nicole started summer school today..ugh..amazingly enough she got up on her own and was actually ready to go before me..lol

Bad news though matt is not in her math class after all.. he has it 1st period..lol..she was not pleased.

Sarah is at my parents being put to work in the garden helping my dad..poor sarah...lol..but at least he is paying her.

Austin just got back from bowling and now wants me to drive him back to the friends house i just dropped off...

I will check in later..sandy i am going to be on aim around 1 if u want to catch me then.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes for my mum. I'm still waiting to hear from my dad whether she is out of hospital yet.

Becky had a good day at work experience. She visited one of the schools in our area, sorted out some paperwork and sat in during a mentoring appointment. Tomorrow she doesn't start till 1.30pm, but then she'll be taking part in an after school club

Howdy all yaz!

WELCOME Michael, Helene and Ariana (what a beautiful name!). I'm Pam (44) and I'm traveling with my daughter, Alana (11). You're going to LOVE this cruise! Disney ROCKS.

Laurie - WW is the only thing that's consistently worked for me over the years. I highly recommend it. It's hard at first... for the first 3-4 days, but then I've found it quite easy. It really depends on what you choose to eat... if you chose the high fiber, filling, good stuff for you, you might not get hungry hardly at all. That's what works best for me. I've done it so long (on and off, of course) that I can count points, fat and calories in my head... automatically. What sucks is getting old and not being able to read the dang nutritional labels without glasses! eeeaaargh!

Movies: Alana saw Hancock last night. She enjoyed it. Much funz. I heard from friends that Wall*E is wonderful! I really can't imagine a pixar film being bad, but I'd skipped it for the time being cuz someone on here said it was terrible. I guess I'll just have to try it out for meself now. I get weepy over the previews for pity sake!

Meeting: When and wherever.. we'll be there. No preference.

Wedding Rain: Ya know... you WILL be on a Disney Cruise and I imagine that even if it does rain it will be the most magical day EVER. I had a wind/rain storm start up in the middle of my outdoor wedding.. it was kinda funny. I imagine it was God trying to warn me. ha ha ha I did get Alana out of the bargain tho.. so it's not all bad.

Sandy - I had a run in with a couple abcessed (sp?) teeth a little more than a year ago. There's no comparison... except maybe giving birth. I got chills just reading you were having to go thru it. I hope yer better now.

Magnets for doors: I got a few magnet sheets for Alana and I to decorate for our cabin door. wheeeeeeeeeeeee! I'm gonna search for some ideas next. I've even got a color printer I can print them on.. but I think Alana will want to do hers by hand. hmmm maybe I will too.. if I can find the time.

Sarah has been swimming like a fish.. Em really loves the water too! I can't wait for them to experience CC.. Heck I can't wait...

Hello All

I tried to post on the 4th while I was at my sister's but the boards kept knocking me out everytime I signed on.

It seems like everyone had a good long weekend. I went to my sister's for a cookout and then over to one of Taylor's friend's house to watch the parade. We could hear the fireworks from our house but couldn't see them. So we watched on tv with the sound effects in the distance

The rest of the weekend was pretty uneventful. I got my monster truck repaired (car muffler fixed) and now my car is purring like a kitten. We did go to see Wall-E. Taylor liked it.

Pam - I think we may be on the same flight to Seattle. You had mentioned you are flying home on the 29th if I remember correctly.

I know exactly what you mean about Summer, we've had lots of rain, but thankfully it's still warm. Apparently we're having lots of rain this Summer, but not the floods we had last year

I hope you are able to pop round from the Mickey Pool to say 'hi'

We leave over a week before the Cruise too. I have always found that I have received my documents before everyone in the US, but nowadays as the documents only really contain the luggage labels (as everything is filled in on-line), that I don't stress if they haven't arrived in time

Soccer was good! It is always neat to see how much the kids have progressed from the previous summer!

Today will be kind of busy. Em has speech therapy at 11 and Occupational therapy at 1:45.. Sarah of course will be in the pond... I will try to hop on when I can!

Thanks, unfortunately my mum had to go back to the hospital this morning as her foot had been bleeding badly, but I'm still waiting to hear from my dad to find out whats going on

Hi everyone. My you were all busy on here yesterday!! I didn't get a chance to post but did catch up on everyone's news!! Sunday night my niece (the one from Virginia that's coming on the cruise) got hurt in my pool and i had to take her to the Er where she had to get 5 stitches in her mouth. My sil and bil left the kids here for two weeks and they have been going back and forth between my house and my mil's. Of course they would rather be here with the girls and the pool.. I was here by myself with the 5 kids and as you can imagine with a mouth injury there was blood aplenty! She was a trooper though and you will hardly be able to see it as it is right under her bottom lip and they did a great job stitching it. Never a dull moment though. It is even scarier having to take someone else's kid to the ER for some reason. I will try to catch up again later
