I got to see the Challenger go up when I was in 8th grade, we too watched from Cocoa Beach. I'm really praying for perfect weather. Our breakfast is at 12:30 am and we can't leave the space center until after the launch at 7:30 am. It will be a really long night if they cancel at the last minute. We haven't told Ian yet just in case that happens before we get there so he won't be too disappointed. Tori thinks it's kind of cool but she's really not too bothered about it. Have a great weekend!

What a brilliant trip report. You are so great with taking pictures of everything. I can't believe I will get to be back in March. I'm looking forward to no rain and lots of sunshine

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes on facebook. I spent the entire day painting Ian's room. We wanted it to be a surprise and they we due to return at 10 pm that night. I took it easy this weekend though. They boys brought me some Steamboat Willie Mickey Mouse ears and the pink Mickey Crocs that I wanted. Tori and I had a meal out at The Melting Pot on Wednesday.

I'll try and post some pictures of the boy's trip. They are still in the camera though.


Hope everyone is staying warm. It absolutely FREEZING here.

Good Morning Bahama Mama's

Yay ! It's nearly the weekend

Is anyone doing anything nice ? I know Danielle is off on her Cruise (lucky !!), but what is everyone else up to ?

Well I've had a mad cleaning morning and the house look nice and tidy, ready for Kerry's birthday tomorrow

Tomorrow we're meeting my mum and dad in town for breakfast where they'll give Kerry her presents, then later in the afternoon her friends are coming round and we're going for a meal at our fave Chinese all-you-can eat buffet, then afterward a few of her friends are staying over, so Paul & I are going to stay in a local hotel so they can have fun and have the place to themselves

I'm waiting for Kerry to go off to work (she works 4.45/11ish pm) and I'll put some decorations up

I really can't believe that she'll be 18 tomorrow

I'll be starting a thread for her birthday on the UK Community tonight, so I'll post the link if you'd like to leave her a message

I can't believe Kerry's birthday is already here. Definitely post the link so I can send her a message. We are headed to Maine this weekend to visit with one of Christopher's friends. They are having a surprise party for him. I've never been to Maine so it will be an adventure for me. Tori thinks the world is coming to an end because she won't be here with her BF and friends for one weekend. I'm sure she will survive. Ian is excited because the hotel has an indoor pool

Have a great weekend Mandy and give Kerry a birthday hug for us.

Danielle- Have a great cruise & hope Brennen does well in his tournament.

Laurie- How have you been. We will have to start our Idol chats again once the interviews are over. I don't like these shows.

How are you getting on with all the snow? We are thinking of you.......

Hey Sandy. Well we had about 5cms of snow yesterday, so of course our town came to a stand still (the UK is rubbish when it comes to coping with the snow)

I tried to go out yesterday, but it took 25 minutes to do 1/2 a mile, so I came home. Today there hasn't been anymore snow, but it's really icy. Thankfully I managed to get out to do some banking this morning, but I think I'll just stay in and chill for the rest of the day

How's things with you ? Did you have fun in Maine ?

I wish I was cruising with Danielle today, I hope she's having some good weather
