2007 Rates - when can I book

I'm leaving on Saturday - and I'm driving my friend crazy - that's she can't wait to book for next year. The Disney site won't allow her to book yet, when will the rates come out for 2007? Can she call them direct yet?

I think you mean the rates for 2008. If that is the case I called Disney and asked the same question and they replied near the end of July sometime. Although you can book your room for 2008 they are not booking packages yet.

You can call them now and make a room only reservation for 2008. Your friend will be charged a one night deposit based on this years rates. Then when the real rates are released, they will get an updated confirmation with the real rate for the room. It is possible that they may need to make a bit more of a deposit, depending on how much the rates have gone up. If they want to change to a package then they can do that once the package rates are released.
