2007 pts or 2008?

I am a new member, trying to make my first reservation with my "regular" points. I made a reservation with my developer points for the spring, but now I want to make a reservation for my home resort - AKL -for next October/November.

I am 11 months out so I'm good on that, but since my use year is June, should I use my 2007 points to make the reservation, or bank all those points, and then use my 2008 points? I'm not planning on visiting WDW before the October visit.

With a June use year, a vacation in Oct/Nov 2008 requires points from a 2008 use year.

There are three ways to have points in a 2008 use year.

1. Your regular 2008 allocation points.
2. 2007 points banked into 2008
3. 2009 points borrowed into 2008

Since you don't have anything else planned, you want to bank your 2007 points. Then when you make the reservation, make sure MS uses the banked points first.
