2007 Marathon Weekend

This is our first year participating in the Marathon. Does anyone have any tips to offer? Or any long running routes?

Hi Krissylynne!

If you go back to the main DISBOARDS page and scroll towards the bottom you'll find a board called WISH there is a sub-forum you'll find at the top called Events/Competition

Within that Forum you'll find a ton of people from all over who have done the Disney races from Marathon Weekend to the training for the coming Race for the Taste 10K

Stop on by they even have a weekly training thread full of very supportive people. I tend to lurk over on the board but was able to meet a few of the wonderful people who are more active posters over the DL 1/2 Weekend and found great support from them throughout our 13.1 Miles on Sunday. I can't wait to do it all over again with them in 3 1/2 months
