Does anyone have any idea when the dates for the 2007 Epcot F&W Festival will be released?

Does anyone have any idea when the dates for the 2007 Epcot F&W Festival will be released?

There are not yet any official dates for 2007.

This year, the dates are Friday, September 29, 2006, through Sunday, November 12, 2006.

Since the F&W Festival expanded from four weeks to six weeks, the F&W Festival has been scheduled for 45 days, ending on the Sunday 11 days before Thanksgiving. That gives the folks at Epcot 10 full days (including one weekend) to take down the F&W Festival at set up for the holiday season.

If we assume the same formula in 2007 and 2008, the dates would be:

2007 (Thanksgiving is November 22)

Friday, September 28, 2007, through Sunday, November 11, 2007.​

2008 (Thanksgiving is November 27)

Friday, October 3, 2008, through Sunday, November 16, 2008.​

Of course, it's possible that Disney could change the formula. For example, by starting a week or two earlier (and thus ending a week or two earlier), Disney could generate more business during the slow month of September and have more time to convert from the F&W Festival to "Holidays Around the World."

Also, Disney could possibly add a week to the F&W Festival, expanding it 52 days. If so, I would expect it to start a week earlier, rather than end on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

Everything in this post is an educated guess. Don't plan a vacation based on the dates that I posted, because I could be wrong.

Thank you! That's what I was thinking/hoping too. We really like to go... but our next vacation in 2007 we won't be arriving until 11/10. I've got my fingers crossed we'll catch the tail end of it.

Any idea when they tend to release those dates? Down the road, it'll help me decide my ADR's.

ARe these offical (from Disney) or another educated guess?

The dates printed on the back of the 2006 Food & Wine guide are 9/28 - 11/11/2007. That's official enough for me!
