Couple of questions about the pin code...does one have to stay 5 nights? And, has anyone figured out what percentage off the rack rate this comes out to?

My pin gave us a 40% off rack rate at a mod. Hope this helps. I assumed no discount on dining or tickets and backed those out of each figure to arrive at the 40% off room rate.

Did you just call Disney to find out if the pin is attached to your name? I am having issues with email lately and don't know if I am entitled to anything.

I did and I had one attached to my name! I'm so saved $500 for our Nov trip!!!!

I received a pin code and tried to apply it to our Wilderness Lodge stay for 10/3/07-10/9/07 and they were sold out. She offered me Ft. Wilderness cabins or Saratoga Springs and I passed. Too far from MK as we have a 2-year old.

hmmm, Ft Wilderness cabins is right next store to WL- you take the same boat to get to the magic kingdom. Actually, the boat from Ft Wilderness stops at WL and picks up the guests there...

I called and the first cm said they only come out by postcard or email
Thank you hung up and immediately called back.
Got another cm who seemed to enjoy his job. Looked and sure enough there was one.
BUT-I booked thru Dreams Unlimited so Rhonda my TA has to call. I just sent an email off to her. Come on and be good to me pin code. I think there may not be availability because we get there the day after Thanksgiving and for the following week.
Now I have to wait. Patience isn't my middle name.

Just got my postcard today for fall specials with pin code... we hadn't booked yet as we were waiting on the specials to see if we could fit it in the budget this year. For a MYW w/hopper for 9 nights we saved $600 at CSR. That was the only moderate available, values were not available. Savings was pretty much the same at deluxe and DVC resorts as well. I will keep checking back as we wanted CBR, but still a pretty good deal.

Heard back from Rhonda at DU but just getting back to posting. She's awesome. It took her 24 minutes to get back to me with the answer.

WOOHOO (her words!) I saved $668.34 on my package that was booked. POR 9 nights MYW w/hoppers and dining plan.

I was shocked that it was available since we arrive the day after Thanksgiving, one of the busiest days.

My credit card is going to love that refund.

After reading this thread, I decided to call and just see if maybe I had a PIN. I did! We are now staying at CSR for $346 cheaper than the teacher rate we had at Swan. Since we now have ME, it's really going to save us $446!!! This is the week of Thanksgiving. The CM I talked to was totally nice and took a lot of time with me. I would call and check on your name if you haven't! I have never gotten a PIN postcard, only e-mails for odd times that I couldn't use, but took a chance and am so glad I did!
