2007 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC07 - October 21, 2007

If you don't get it changed before the cruise, when you board, go directly to Diversions, Deck 3 forward - (around the corner to the right and then to the left around the orner, of Guest Services) and try to be the first couple of people in to change times.

Just a thought

Just wondering if any of you have been able to chang your dining time on the Cruise. This year we have the late seating.Nanc would perfer the early seating. We were told by member services that we could cahang it until we checked in at the terminal. If anyone knows another way we would like to know.

Anyone seen the sale on Spirit Airlines. If you are part of the $9 club they are paying you to fly. I found $57 for 2 people round trip detroit to orlando. How crazy is that you leave the 11th and come back the 19th. It doesnt work for me but i thought others might want to know about this great sale.

I have been very busy at work. It looks like our company is going to be sold. I just hope we keep our jobs.......and our vacation time

Went to the gym tonight and I am warn out. I wish I had started this exercising when I was 20 something not 40 almost 50 something. BUt I will be in better shape at 50 than 40....

To be honest I've been a bit intimidated by Disboards (so many people and so much stuff!) and as a result, I haven't posted before this! I've been posting on a smaller DVC-specific site which is where Tiggerguy2000 directed me to this thread...I hope I have time to read it all!

To fill in the blanks...My family (DW, DS4, DD1 and I) having bought DVC mid 2006 will be on this (our first) cruise. We will be on deck 5 near the midships elevator.

We will arrive late on 10/19 (happy birthday to me!) from the Seattle area and will spend 2 nights with Marriott near Cape Canaveral to watch the 10/20 shuttle launch. After the cruise we will be doing 3 nights at VB and then 5 nights at VWL to finish it off.

Thanks again Tiggerguy, and I hope to meet many/most/all of you!

Well, considering I just got back from the DL 1/2 marathon, and my whole body is still aching, I would same I'm a 5 1/2.

Once I have recouperated through the weekend, I should be up around a 7.

Getting ready for year end (Sept 30) here at the office, so I am in audit preparation mode. We are on a short fiscal year this year (9 months), have just changed Jan-Dec, to Oct-Dec, so I get two audits this year.

Seems like I just packed away all the stuff from 2006!

Linda, I feel your pain. The auditors just finished our 06 tax return. Now if we get sold I have to end 8/07as year end and start a new 9/07. I wish they would hurry and sign the papers. Not knowing is killing us.

well, tomorrow will be horrendous. I have to think positive. My DD is giving a b/day party for her one YO. She has invited 40 little ones between the age of 1 and 2. Can you imagine that????? I think Karen (DD) has lost her mind.

I had to go over today and wait for different things to be delivered.

By tomorrow night, I'm sure I'll be a little crazy. Like I'm not already

But my sister is flying in from S.C. for a cruise we are going on next week, and I told her she is coming just time to help.

I totally agree - DD's hubby is an atty. and he worked in St. Attys. Office for years and now in a private office and they socialize a lot. She had 3 baby showers and got WAY TOO MUCH baby stuff.

You should see when they have a poker weekend at the house. Ridiculous. I don't even go over anymore on those weekends. Has a lot of sports fans that are friends also and they all have little ones.

Once a year around October, they all go on a weekend cruise on Carnival and they book over 50 rooms. Can you imagine that also. There are a lot of babysitters that weekend.

I just found out that the shuttle launch on 10/20 that we were coming a day early to catch has been postponed until 10/23. On the positive side, we may just go to the world and join in at the pre-cruise party.
