I know tips are included for our trip, I know people sometimes like to tip more, is the crew getting sufficient tips or do you all leave a bit more for extra special service?
Also what about tipping for the excursions, included too or not?
And I have been reading about arriving early because of problems getting there and what not. We are driving down. We planned on leaving about 2am on Saturday morning (driving from MI) going down to Southern Georgia / Northern FL to spend the night and finish the drive Sunday morning (departure day) to the port. Hopefully no more than a 5 hour drive.
Do you think we should plan to arrive at the port on a Saturday?? I don't think it will be overly necessary since we aren't flying but I just wonder about being tired, vehicle problems or whatnot. Any advice?

Any advice? Is there any way you can leave on Friday? I'm a big fan of being well rested the day of sailing. Plus if there was any way you could drive down Friday/Saturday and stay by the port Saturday evening you could treat your family to dinner at Grills and watch the Magic sail out at 5 pm. It is a great way to start your cruise vacation and get everyone excited. It's what we did before the '03 Member cruise.Having said all that if you can't leave Friday I wouldn't worry too much about a 5 hour drive.
