Why no DVC updates???

I thought the book was wonderful (I'm already finished). The only part I didn't care for was the epilog which I thought was a bit cheesey.

Not sure why we haven't heard more from DVC but I went and looked at our 2006 page to see when we got updates and here are the dates:

So compared to last year we are actually ahead of the game as we've had two updates and the web page. Here's hoping that the website gets updated soon.

We'll definately have an onboard meet. Thinking 3pm up on deck 10 as we have done in the past (with deck 9 as an option if it rains).

We kicked around the idea of a Saturday meet somewhere on Disney property. What does everyone think? Last year we did 3 or 4 pm at the Solarium at Beach Club. So people didn't need a park ticket to attend.

Would that work for everyone? What time? 3pm, 4pm, later? Everyone's opinion counts so all you lurkers here's the time for your voice to be heard!

sorry I am late with an update. Tell you children ha ha - but seriously - she is doing as well as expected.

I am at WDW so I have not spoken with DD today yet.

They are supposed to bring Maddie home either tonight or tomorrow.

No movement yet but the neuro tests are looking good. It may take up to 2 weeks to see if she can walk.

Prayers are surely needed from the other little pups out there.

We have already talked about the little wagon to hook onto her, if she can't walk.

I'll try and post a pic of her when I get home over the weekend.

Hope everyone has a good day - it is supposed to rain at Disney later today. Nothing bad.

Actually, it was only 9pm my time, and I was up working on a project anyway. So, worked out very nicely.

having a good time - not doing a whole lot - just relaxing stuff only.

Miss Linda will surely be tired when she gets home. Her blog sounds like fun when I read it. She is pushing herself in some of those tours. Hope Robert is keeping up with her

Do you think later would be better so folks can go to dinner, I am talking out the Saturday one, not on board three is good for on board. Can you see any fire works from there? We will be driving so can bring drinks or something. We haven't made any plans yet so just let us know.

Just wanted to say hello. We will be on the member cruise for the 1st time this year and I'm really excited!
Any insight as to what kind of things there are to do during the day at sea? How about the 2nd day at CC?

Welcome aboard!

Check out the very first post in this thread for info on the website we've set up for the group and how to send in your family's info to be included.

As for the sea day DVC will have a number of wonderful things for us. Special guests, seminars, and for the last two years a talk by Jim Lewis President of DVC.

For the 2nd day at CC there will be a group photo shoot and maybe some other fun surprises as well. In 2003 and 2005 the beach had tons of DVC beach balls on them for everyone. Last year they did this rock search but unfortunately someone ruined it by running ahead and grabbing 50-60 of the 80 rocks put out.

Ok to help us decide I've put up a poll on the DIS meets board.

Same for us, we fly in late and are going straight to Animal Kingdom Lodge.

rbcheek, the rest of my family is quiet reserved so I think I am really the only one in my group that is so gung-ho about the dismeet. My DH thinks I am nuts over the Disboards, little does he know I really am disfunctional without it.

I was the same as your DH last year and Amanda was the one addicted to it. Now this year, its me. i can't go a day without logging in and at least saying hi. Trust me, he'll come around because you will talk about the people on the boards and he will feel left out. Plus once you meet these people on the ship you will run into them at every turn. It's actually nice to know other people on the ship, so when your family is making you crazy you can join one of your disboard families

Member Gallery Update!

We have a few new additions to the Member Gallery.

Frank (Pinocchio), his wife Rosemary and sone Jeffrey will be sailing with us. Frank was with us on last years Member Cruise and also sailed with Mark and I back in May of '06.

Jamie (DVCMom99) and her family DH Ray, DD Eva, DS Alex as well as her Grandparents will also be joining us.
