Ok, I am lost...what is cruise box?

And just to be in on the conversation, we haven't sold our house yet and are getting frustrated.

We already have a florida address, so we are coming down a couple of days early to get the legal stuff done. Do you think we have a problem changing our ids that close to the cruise? We do have passports.

Besides I want to ride POTC as a FLORIDA resident.

tggrbuny were you able to get Florida resident rates??? if you set up an appointment at the driver's license bureau for when you get done with your closing. If you do, you would have your Florida driver's license. the appointment thing is fantastic!!!!!! you are done in like 15 minutes and no waiting!!!! good luck!!! see you in september!!!

joshua...the party idea sounds like fun!!! what time??? :yay:

We booked on points, so we didn't even try. Do you think it would work for an upgrade? :rotfl2:

Actually we are now legally FL residents because we changed our voter's registration and under Florida law...that is the standard.

We still have Ohio DL, but we were going to get new ones on Thursday before the cruise. The appointment is a great idea...thanks.

If the house doesn't sell soon, I may just tell the bank they can keep it...I don't think I can live another winter in Ohio! :furious:

We like to come to the party on Sunday too, have lots of spa stuff that day...hope it will all work.

ollie'smom: What on earth is a cruise box? I'm sure it's something I will want to do too, just because I'm so addicted to these darn cruises! :teeth:

joshua: Count me in for the party, but what happens if everybody from this group comes?! We'll all make some REALLY close friends! :crowded: The more the merrier! :grouphug:

Let's say about 2:00 PM, right after my pedicure...lol..Please let me know how many are attending from each group so that I can arrange for food.

We will do the best that we can. It might get a little tight with 155 people..

What I want to know is who is signing up for the martini and margarita tasting? Has anyone done these and how are they?
I do not know how good it was, but my father sure liked it. He did the wine tasting and the martini tasting back to back last year on the west coast cruise. After that he was using his credit card to try to open the cabin door.

Perfect, I'm in..

We've added the "BigBlueMan" and crew (including guests from Scotland) to the vitrual cruise photo album. We'd love to add more.

Thanks Ed for participating. Which Deck are you guys on?

Party in our room on Sunday, any takers please RSVP.

Counts us in. Two - possibly Four from Monstro's group.

ugarxdawg?

Jeff

joshua: Count my whole huge group of 2 for the party in your room. :) Maybe that will give Tyler a chance to meet your kids, as well as others near his age, so he can see who he'll get to play with in Oceaneers. Hopefully that will convince him to go there a couple times.

A family we cruised with last time and remained friends with is on this cruise too, but I can't get them to join the message boards! So I'm thinking of telling them there's a party and they're not invited unless they join our thread! :stir: Yeah, I'm mean, but maybe that will help them join. ;)

All four of us are proudly representing the cheap seats down on deck 2!!! And Monstro, I LOVE that dog!!

HollyTyler, a cruise box is an idea I saw on this board. Being a 1st time cruiser and with so many great tips and a great packing list, as I by little things I drop them in my cruise box(ex: disposable camera, DD pirate jewerly etc!!)

The writer of the thread/post mentioned that they use like a storage tote, so when the cruise is over they pack everything cruise related back in the tote and store. Some items may include over the door shoe holders, battery alarm clocks, etc.

My girlfriend has started one too, so when I visit, I am nosy, just to make sure I don't forget or not think of something.

ollie'smom: GREAT idea! Yup, I knew it....I'm gonna have to do that too! :thumbsup2 I have a couple things I know I'm taking and will only use on the cruise, so I just dumped them into my suitcase. Similar purpose, but I like the cruise box WAY better. :teeth:

Thank you. He's quite the dog. Great personality. We're all avid snowboarders with the exception of dw Ann - thus his name "Burton"

Joshua count us in! (2)

I like the idea of a meet on the promanade lounge too!

I have a giftbox that is the shape of a treasure chest from our last cruise that I use for our cruise box. I just added a roll of quarters, laundry tabs, and zip lock bags. It's getting full!

Terrible question to ask: How much money would I forfeit if I had to cancel our cruise at this point? Too worn out from long day at work to search DCL's website for their cancellation policy. Anybody know offhand? :sad2:
