20060902--Eastern Sept 2nd, 2006

I am hoping that someone might be able to help me. My girls had a blast on the ship with another girl. My girls want to keep in contact with her and even got her telephone number, but, now, they cannot seem to locate it. Here is all of the information I have about her. Her name was Julie. She is from Myrtle Beach, SC. This was her 9th cruise. If anyone can help me locate even an email address for her that I can give to my girls, I would appreciate it.

How old are your girls? I'll ask my DD13 but she was in the stack.

It is only natural that this thread will eventually go away (although its been pretty busy lately).

You guys might want to join the disneycruise group on yahoo.

It is run by a friend of mine, and might be a nice way to keep up with what is going on in general on the cruises (since most of you are repeaters), plus each other. Like any other Yahoo group, you can read the messages on the website or have them sent individually to your mailbox.

IF you are interested, check it out. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/disneycruise/

I'll check it out, but I'm sad for this thread to go away! I love talking to all of you, especially after getting to meet most of you face to face. I might join the yahoo group, or I might just stick to running across you folks on the DIS boards. I see most of you on other threads too, so that will work. :teeth:

Holly,
I've been reading it too! Here descriptions are so funny...I lost it at one point and did the whole coke spewage through the nose.... :lmao:

Ginny

I know! I was cracking up late last night reading it, absolutely sure Tyler was going to wake up and wonder if his mom had finally flipped her lid! :rotfl2:

Looks like the party is over. Someone better shut off the lights.

Anybody still around? :wave2:

I have GOT to find some new threads in DVC to go to. Losing a DISBoard thread is sooooo sad.

Yes, still around. So, is Jeff (Monstro) and Brian (Joshua301123?). All of us are still posting to various threads on the boards and periodically run across each other.

Hope you are doing well.

Awww, come on guys, you KNOW I'm still here! :teeth: Just basically lurking on other threads. ;)

Hey, I am all in favor of keeping this thread alive if this is the place we all still want to meet to exchange messages.

It's a date! :thumbsup2 The yahoo group doesn't have much action, so come on back over here, everybody!

I do not believe I posted this. Sorry, I did not get to see anyone on the last night of the cruise, but I think I got heat stroke at Castaway Cay--a headache so big I thought my head was going to explode (and no amount of advil helped), nausea and being extremely hot. Tried to go to supper, got there, went back to the room and shut off all of the lights. What fun for Becky who had to get us packed in the dark.

Overall, though everyone in our family had a blast, we were all at Starbucks last night and Rachael said that she cried when she had to leave the ship.

How awful to have to feel so lousy! :guilty: Yup, I'm sure it's from the heat. All 3 times we've been to CC, we usually don't last more than an hour because it's so hot and Tyler gets so miserable. This time we didn't even make it to the beach---he was worn out and sweaty and miserable almost immediately. Poor kid. Threw quite a tantrum because he just wanted to get back to the ship and the Mickey pool! That's the only misbehaving he did the whole cruise, so I can't complain.

Although we were both sad to leave the ship, Tyler said, "It's OK Mom because we'll be back another time." I'm counting down and can't wait!

Not only are the girls counting down to our next cruise in January of 2007, they becoming quite the little planners. The last cruise was their bday present, which meant no big party at home. They were not particularly keen about that idea before the cruise, but now thought it was really cool (especially since all of the friends told them that they wished their parents would take them on a cruise).

They are already planning their 16th bday. They want to take 3 friends on a Disney Cruise for that bday.

What have I created!?!
