"IF YOU HAD BEEN DOING YOUR PARENTAL DUTIES INSTEAD OF SELFISHLY OFF SMOKING, I COULD HAVE TAKEN CARE OF MY OWN CHILDREN, NOT YOUR CHILDREN AND MADE SURE THAT I HAD ALL THEIR BELONGINGS AND NOW WE ARE OUT ABOUT $200 WORTH OF STUFF BECAUSE YOU CAN'T GROW A SET AND BE A FATHER......
Amen and about time he was told :thumbsup2

UPS just brought our new camera! DH said we can now take pretty pictures of our food and pictures of the food of everyone around us. :thumbsup2

I think you need to start giving seminars to those of us with less backbone. In fact, my father is coming into town Sunday, and I sure could use a lesson in "tellin' it like it is".

There have only been a handful of times in my life that I have been so angry that I actually lost control.
Oh my I think we are going to see "the tail come out" FINALLY!!

If you hadnt said that I think I was going to ask for his phone # and call and give him a piece of my mind...He sounds like a piece of work. This is a FAMILY vacation NOT a BIL go off and smoke leaving everyone else to deal with my kids vacation!!!I am so glad you showed your tail!!!I hope things get better from here...Cant wait for more......

And just who(m) is going to be sittin' at the tables with you, dare I ask?

Oh Goodness! WHAT did he say!? What did his mama say?
Did you PINCH your DH hard, with a twist for good measure, for not telling you 1 second earlier?

Can we hear Sirius's side?

But most importantly of ALL...did you get a replacement cookie? :rolleyes1

So thankful you got Felony's fanny pack back! That was a close one!

I think you did purty well holding it in all this time! Bravo for telling DBIL to "grow a pair"!! It's about time! ;)

So does MIL or BIL still speak to you? :lmao:

MIL always says,"I love you" when she calls.

BIL asked if we were doing Disney again this year.

It is funny now!

I'm becoming more assertive in my old age!

He's so braindead that he wouldn't know what you are talking about.

Yes, we all sat together for supper. MIL wasn't aroud to witness this display.

I never did get a replacement cookie! :sad1:

Felony discovered that she left her fanny pack at Pizza Planet. Felony is so upset because everything was in there: her NintendoDS, lanyard, pins, and 10 Disney Dollars.

Reality update... Felony got her DS this past Christmas... It was the Brand New Pink GameBoy SP(ok not quite new... it was bought for the On a Horse with no name! trip (March '06).

Did you PINCH your DH hard, with a twist for good measure, for not telling you 1 second earlier?

No she didn't... She realized that I finally learned how to do something she has been doing since our wedding day.... Tell the other person something in your head and forget that you didn't say it out loud.

No you can't hear my side... this is SOs trip report... While the information is fairly accurate I chose not to spoil it with a different point of view...

DON'T PANIC

He's so braindead that he wouldn't know what you are talking about.

The funny thing is is that BIL(My Little Bro#1 out of 4) has had the nickname of Braindead since I saw him in a coma at a hospital when he was 16. I was there with MIL(my mudda) and she had kittens... But I casually waved her point of contention away with a statement like "he is to bullheaded for that name to be true". But to all delights the name stuck and he still responds to it today.

DON'T PANIC

Where did everyone go? Sirius, did you kill my thread?

I think he did :lmao: It's so funny when DH's post mine thinks I'm mad and I could never get him on here let alone have his own username!

Jo, maybe one day he will come over to the green side. :thumbsup2

I'm here, I'm here! :yay:

I refuse to consider your verbal reprimand as having lost it, gone berserk, thrown a fit, etc. - you were provoked time after time and he needed to hear the TRUTH! :thumbsup2 (But. Can he HANDLE the truth??)

My question is this: did your entirely appropriate admonishment have any effect? popcorn::

No, there is more child abandonment to come!

Where were we? Ah, yes, I was still a little pouty, yet it was time to herd these cats towards the exit for our 5PM ADR at the Maya Grill. MIL and GP were supposed to be waiting for us...which they were with ice cream in hand. :scared: Ok, did we not just eat and are we not in the way to eat some more? And of course when children see ice cream, they are all suddenly starving and thirsty. And what goes great with ice cream and water? Yup, smoking and peeing! Honestly, can we not get from point A to point B without drama? I was in a bit of a tissy 'cause I didn't know how long it would take to get to CSR......just didn't realize how close we were. We somehow managed to arrive at 4:30, which turned out nice. Instead of retyping the experience, I just copied and pasted from another thread:

Maya Grill- our one night stay at CSR!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We were at Maya Grill so long, that I thought we needed a room for the night! I wanted to let my DIS family know about our experience at Maya Grill on 8/21/06. Let me start by saying that the only reason we chose this location was because it was pretty much our only option. We had a group of 11, and most places were booked. When I inquired about the dining times, the CM said the evening was wide open...take your pick. Three weeks out and wide open? 5:00, restuarant opening, sounded good. Our park du jour was MGM, which is close by, but you just never know. We arrived at 4:30, no big deal. At 5:00 we checked in and were seated right away. We had two in wheelchairs, so while DH and BIL were off parking them in the appropriate place, our waitress came by. She said, since all of your party is not here, I'll come back. She quickly disappeared before I could say they would be right back....and they were. So we wait, wait, and wait. Finally she comes back to give us the specials and take the drink order. I know it takes time to get drinks for 11 people, but we were her only table. Still, it wasn't a big deal; it just allowed time for everyone to make their selections. We place our orders, and after some time, our appetizers arrive. Most were happy with their selections except me. I ordered the seafood margarita, which had three mussels, and a speck of "other" seafood about the size of a dime. I am not kidding here. The rest of what was in the glass was filler of some sort, but not shrimp and lobster. Not one shrimp to be found. I probably should have complained, and ordinarily I would have. The children's appetizers were large portions, so I helped them finish. And with all of the food with the DDP, I really wasn't terribly hungry. So we finish our apps, and continue to wait and wait and wait. Finally our entrees come out and it was evident that some things had been under a heat lamp for some time. Again, I know with a group of 11 that it is hard to time everything so that all dishes were ready at the same time. However, some of my food and my MIL's food was not kept under a heat lamp and was cold. She and I had the Mixed Grill and the steaks were no where near the way we ordered, so we sent them back. The steaks were returned perfect. We finished eating and waited and waited and waited for our waitress to come with the dessert tray. I might add that the restuarant was still pretty empty. Finally, all desserts ordered, and again we wait. I don't remember what I had, but I do remember that it wasn't all that great and I was coveting some banana thing that my BIL ordered. By the time we finished and were waiting to pay, another large group had been seated. Now we had to wait for our waitress to take their order, and they decided to make changes, ask lots of questions, get in an argument, and then sit there and think. Meanwhile, we are ready to go! Oh, and this group who delayed us from getting back to MGM had the nerve to ask us to take a picture of them. Might as well, while we are waiting to pay. Finally, 3.5 hours later, our credits are deducted and we are on the way back to MGM.

The food at Maya Grill was good, not great, but good. To us, it was not worth the park time that we lost.

I hope that others have had or will have a better experience!

So sorry that you had just an ok time at Maya Grill, especially after the day you just had.Hope you had a good strong drink. Thanks for the info on the service. I have made a mental note of this as with 2 children under 4 and 1 (both boys i might add)we are looking for good food along with quick and good service. You never now how long our little*angles* will last-usually when they are done-mommy and daddy must be done quickly.

Mine we under the table at some point, but I was too tired and frustrated to even care....I can hear the judgey types now gasping!

And still no adult beverages.

Since I've been reading S'late you're racing through your TR does it have anything to do with your new siggie? :rotfl2:

We're staying at CSR and weren't going to eat at Maya grill as the food does not really look like our taste but now we're definately not eating there
