Stacy, sorry about the rain. It does make camping a totally different experience.
We got rained on yesterday morning as well and had to bring my tent and Cameron's tents home to dry as well. Cameron staked them down in the back yard and they were drying nicely, when all of the sudden the skies opened up and downpoured all over them again.

We ran out there and pulled them into the garage and draped them all over everything in there and started back at square one. If it's dry later today, when Cameron comes home from school he'll repack them up so we can return them tonight.
4 boys & 1 ASM in the OoA!

The boys from our troop who were elected went up to do their service project this past weekend. I'm hoping all of them passed as well. I don't know if it's standard, but what they were doing was sleeping outside, with only a sleeping bag I believe, and then spending Saturday with little food in their bodies, working hard getting the summer camp ready for all Boy Scouts and not being able to talk all day. When the day ended, they were having some sort of feast and I'm sure a ceremony for those boys who were able to make it all day. To me, it sounded very grueling - although Cameron's hoping the next time around he'll be elected as he hasn't been in the troop long enough to have been elected this year. If he does, I know that will be one campout that I'll pass on going.
