I was going through pictures of Member Homecoming this morning and I found this one:
Picture197.jpg

Besides me and my boys, does anyone notice anyone else familiar to them in the picture? :rotfl2:

If you look above the guy in the red shirt who is leaning over---you can see my head. It's in between the two people in the white hats heads. :lmao:

Evening All!!
Just popping in real quick before heading to bed.

Cindy - I'm glad to hear everyone is ok. We had some crazy weather like that the other day but not as intense luckily.
Oh and I did find Diana in your pic before I read her post. I wasn't positive it was her when I first looked.

Amy - Congrats on the AKL add on. As Diana we too looked at the preview rooms when we were down last week and they were awesome! I can't wait till they are built!

Erin - Say "Happy Birthday" to Nick from the Jennings!!!

Cheryl & Todd - Congrats on your Anniversary!! Wishing you many more happy years ahead!!

Mary - Your cruise is sounding like such fun. I can't wait to get back on a Disney Cruise ship again!

Steve - Hey there!

Ok I think I replied to everything I wanted to. We have Boy Scout Camporee so I'll be MIA for the weekend!
TTFN!

Have fun Stacy, Jeff & of course, Nick! :cool1:

I'm off camping this weekend with Cameron & the Boy Scouts too! Not the Camporee but camping - out towards Steve's house in Wilmington. They are Wingshooting this weekend. Cameron decided to allow me to join them - I think he has an ulterior motive to his invite though, as he's still hoping for a fire arm of his own. :upsidedow

I just hope those nasty cicadas don't emerge this weekend. :scared: :scared: I'll be hiding in the car if that's the case. :sad2: I have heard they are coming out Sunday and/or Tuesday. That means for the 3 weeks they are around, if they are really bad, I'll be hanging out inside with the kids. :scared1: Does everyone have them or is it only a midwest thing?

Hi everyone! Dish HD satellite guy is coming here today to switch us over to HD. Since the TV FINALLY seems to be working...................

I hope all of you campers have a great time. Cindy the weather here is supposed to be wonderful so you should do great. And the Cicadas are HARMLESS just noisy ;) Good Luck to Cameron

Have a great trip all of those traveling!

I work tomorrow so I will be working on the CJ's

Have a great weekend everyone!

Have fun camping this weekend Stacy & Cindy. Hope you have nice weather.

John's leaving in the morning for 4 days to go to Ft. Lauderdale to work. I think he picked this weekend to go because it's our week to set up the nets for the soccer game on Saturday. :confused3

Cindy, I'm thinking if you don't like the cicada's you wouldn't like the fish flies we get here. John's aunts office is very close to the lake and during fish fly season they have to sweep them off the building so they can open the door. Then they use a snow shovel to scoop them off the sidewalk. They're harmless but very icky!!!!

Have fun camping, Cindy & Stacy!!

All this talk of bugs is yucky!!! This is FL, and we have all kinds of bugs. The biggest annoyance around here is the Love Bugs. I'm sure that you guys have seen them when you're down here. They're black and harmless, but annoying!!

We're heading to WDW this weekend for a couple of days. Emily has a birthday party to go to tomorrow morning, then we're off to Orlando. We're meeting up with friends that I used to work with at AT&T. So, it should be fun!!

Hi all. All this talk about camping and WDW and even work... I'll be happy just to get out of the house for a little while. Not being able to drive really sucks, but hopefully it's just for another week.

Things are going pretty well, but we've had to resort to using a bottle for a few days. Sophia needs a little break from the frustration she's had BFing. We've called in the troops though and have a lactation consultant coming over to help us on Monday.

Ian loves his baby sister and is very protective of her. He even says who can and can't hold her - usually it's just mommy, too. Here's another picture, from Monday as we waited to be released from the hospital.

Robin, Hopefully you can be out and about soon. You may want to contact Ilene, I think she may be able to help you with feeding.

Cheryl

Robin,

Sophia is adorable! Make sure to take care of yourself and try to get some rest. Inquiring minds want to know: Do you still call her "squirt"?:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Precious picture, Robin! princess:

When I had Walker, I was unable to drive for 7 weeks after he was born due to complications, so I truly understand your frustration. It won't be long, I'm sure, before you get the green light.

I'm glad to hear Ian is adjusting well to your growing family. :thumbsup2

Good Evening,
Well Camporee is all done and of course the best weather day of the weekend was today! Yesterday we got rained on basically all day, yuck. Needless to say it made for a long day. We had the our Order of the Arrow ceremony yesterday and 4 boys and 1 ASM from our troop were elected into the order. They did a condensed version of the ceremony due to the weather!

So since we got rained on so we had to put the tents up and open the tarps to dry them out and repack them, that's such a pain in the tush if ya know what I mean.

Cindy - I hope you have a better camp out then us.

Robin - Sophia is adorable!!

Robin, Sophia is adorable! What a cutie! I completely understand about the no driving, that was one of the hardest things to give up for a couple of weeks!

Stacy too bad about the rain day for the camping weekend. Sounds like it didn't slow you guys down too much.

Stacy, sorry about the rain. It does make camping a totally different experience. :(

We got rained on yesterday morning as well and had to bring my tent and Cameron's tents home to dry as well. Cameron staked them down in the back yard and they were drying nicely, when all of the sudden the skies opened up and downpoured all over them again. We ran out there and pulled them into the garage and draped them all over everything in there and started back at square one. If it's dry later today, when Cameron comes home from school he'll repack them up so we can return them tonight.

4 boys & 1 ASM in the OoA! :cool1: The boys from our troop who were elected went up to do their service project this past weekend. I'm hoping all of them passed as well. I don't know if it's standard, but what they were doing was sleeping outside, with only a sleeping bag I believe, and then spending Saturday with little food in their bodies, working hard getting the summer camp ready for all Boy Scouts and not being able to talk all day. When the day ended, they were having some sort of feast and I'm sure a ceremony for those boys who were able to make it all day. To me, it sounded very grueling - although Cameron's hoping the next time around he'll be elected as he hasn't been in the troop long enough to have been elected this year. If he does, I know that will be one campout that I'll pass on going. :scared:

Yep what you described sounds like what they call the "OA Ordeal". Nick also did not qualify yet to be elected for the OA. He's never really talked about it so I don't know if it is something he wants to acheive or not. Right now we are just concentrating on finish the last things for 2nd & 1st class before our next COH. He really wants to earn both but time is running out to get things completed. Keeping my fingers crossed he can get them done!

We got back tonight from LA LA land. Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica is beautiful. Amanda had a better time than I did because she got to do more, like the tour of stars homes. I did see 50 cent (the rapper) outside our hotel in Hollywood and Bob Saget (from Full House at Social resturant). Drove through the mountains and it was great. Disneyland was fun. Can do both parks in one day we found out. It wasn't very busy at all.

pixiedust: I hope Nick can finish what he needs in order to achieve the ranks! pixiedust:

I know Cameron was tickled pink when he did! Good luck, Nick!

Stacy and Cindy - sorry to hear about the rain!

Anyone else excited for the big Pirates premiere this weekend?

We are!! pirate:

And the bonus is it's playing at the drive in and the weather is supposed to be warm enough to actually go!! We've wanted to see Spider man but last weekend was a wash out, cold dreary mess. The drive in is the only way we get to see movies because we don't have a babysitter and the girls can just lay in the back of the car in their sleeping bags and watch their own movie while we watch! :cool1:
