Welcome back Diana!! Come on, fess up with the details from your trip!!!!
Things are busy around here again! With the end of the school year comes lots of different school activities, recitals and of course, teachers taking time off, thus substituting for me. I worked a TON last week, and I'm working the after care session in the elementary school for most of this week and next week. The girls' last day of school is next Thursday the 24th. Then, I need to come up with some fun stuff to do this summer!!!
Details...
We got home Monday night about 10:30 and I'm having the toughest time integrating back into society.
Trip in a nutshell--5 nights at BCV in a 1BR. all of which were spent stalking Mulan. Emma loves Mulan. She's her favorite character of all time. We booked the Princess Storybook Breakfast b/c that's where to see Mulan--nope. It was Cinderella that day.

Most people would flip for Cinderella--and Julia did. But not Emma. Every single day Bruce checked with Guest Services, where's Mulan--oh, she's out on warrior duty an isn't in the parks today.

We couldn't find one iota of Mulan merchandise.

The parks weren't too crowded we went everywhere, did everything we wanted to, had a wonderful time.
Oh--wait, you wanted house details didn't you?!?!
Friday morning we got up, checked out of BCV, got our luggage transferred to AKL and hopped in the car. We were supposed to met the real estate agent at 10am. I had asked for her to show up 6 houses I felt bad we were taking up too much of her time. WOW. They met us with their van, helped us transfer the car seats over and proceded to take us through 10 houses in 3 different communities. Then took us to lunch. After that they drove us through the city, showed us where all the stores and restaurants were, then into downtown and gave us pretty much a historical guided tour, even showed us where the celebrities lived.

They even took us down to the beach. The only downside to all this was Friday was the real smoky day and the sky wasn't the fabulous blue it usually is---so I'll guess we'll have to go back. The real estate agents spent the entire day with us and we didn't leave until 6:00!!
Bradenton is a great city filled with lots of art and cultural activities. There are so many things to do there. And another plus--it only took us an hour and 15 minutes to get there. We didn't hit traffic so I'm sure it could take a lot longer but wow---that's close to WDW!!
And yes---we found a house. 2 actually, and they're right next door to each other. We fell in love with this one community. And it wasn't the one I thought I'd like best. Both are going into foreclosure which can work to our benefit b/c it takes some more time but now we're waiting on Bruce's work. He has a meeting today where he's going to try to put this in the fast lane, but we'll see what happens.
Even if these 2 houses sell, we know now exactly where we want to be and what these houses look like so the decision will be alot easier for in finding a new house.
So, yes, we're going to be moving to Florida---when, hopefully very very soon. But I'd still like to push it off until August so we can go to Cedar Point!!
BTW--Monday, we had to leave for the airport at 3:00, so we ran over to Beaches N Cream for lunch. On the way back through to Epcot, we stopped and asked one more time about Mulan. This was 1:00. Mulan will be in China at 1:15. Talk about cutting it close!! It completely MADE Emma's vacation though!! And she talked poor Mulan's ear off asking her about the warrior duty she's been on.
