Amy - Heather says to say "Hello" and that she misses all of you - she went on to say how adorable your girls are. And you need to come back onboard soon.

I will tell him hello for you Mary.

Busy day yesterday onboard and today is a bit more relaxing - partly sunny skies and we're 2 hours ahead of the east coast time-wise.

Had dinner at Palo last night with Karen and we're having a great time - lots of DISers onboard so there's lots to do and keep busy.
Sounds like you're having a GREAT time onboard, Mary!!!

Thanks SO much for saying HI to Heather for us! She really did make our cruise incredibly special and she has a perfect way with kids. The girls just LOVED her and so did we!!!!

Welcome back Diana!! Come on, fess up with the details from your trip!!!!

Things are busy around here again! With the end of the school year comes lots of different school activities, recitals and of course, teachers taking time off, thus substituting for me. I worked a TON last week, and I'm working the after care session in the elementary school for most of this week and next week. The girls' last day of school is next Thursday the 24th. Then, I need to come up with some fun stuff to do this summer!!!:scared1:

Details...:rolleyes1

We got home Monday night about 10:30 and I'm having the toughest time integrating back into society. :lmao:

Trip in a nutshell--5 nights at BCV in a 1BR. all of which were spent stalking Mulan. Emma loves Mulan. She's her favorite character of all time. We booked the Princess Storybook Breakfast b/c that's where to see Mulan--nope. It was Cinderella that day. :guilty: Most people would flip for Cinderella--and Julia did. But not Emma. Every single day Bruce checked with Guest Services, where's Mulan--oh, she's out on warrior duty an isn't in the parks today. :confused3 We couldn't find one iota of Mulan merchandise. :guilty: The parks weren't too crowded we went everywhere, did everything we wanted to, had a wonderful time.

Oh--wait, you wanted house details didn't you?!?! :lmao:

Friday morning we got up, checked out of BCV, got our luggage transferred to AKL and hopped in the car. We were supposed to met the real estate agent at 10am. I had asked for her to show up 6 houses I felt bad we were taking up too much of her time. WOW. They met us with their van, helped us transfer the car seats over and proceded to take us through 10 houses in 3 different communities. Then took us to lunch. After that they drove us through the city, showed us where all the stores and restaurants were, then into downtown and gave us pretty much a historical guided tour, even showed us where the celebrities lived. :lmao: They even took us down to the beach. The only downside to all this was Friday was the real smoky day and the sky wasn't the fabulous blue it usually is---so I'll guess we'll have to go back. The real estate agents spent the entire day with us and we didn't leave until 6:00!!

Bradenton is a great city filled with lots of art and cultural activities. There are so many things to do there. And another plus--it only took us an hour and 15 minutes to get there. We didn't hit traffic so I'm sure it could take a lot longer but wow---that's close to WDW!!

And yes---we found a house. 2 actually, and they're right next door to each other. We fell in love with this one community. And it wasn't the one I thought I'd like best. Both are going into foreclosure which can work to our benefit b/c it takes some more time but now we're waiting on Bruce's work. He has a meeting today where he's going to try to put this in the fast lane, but we'll see what happens.

Even if these 2 houses sell, we know now exactly where we want to be and what these houses look like so the decision will be alot easier for in finding a new house.

So, yes, we're going to be moving to Florida---when, hopefully very very soon. But I'd still like to push it off until August so we can go to Cedar Point!! :lmao:

BTW--Monday, we had to leave for the airport at 3:00, so we ran over to Beaches N Cream for lunch. On the way back through to Epcot, we stopped and asked one more time about Mulan. This was 1:00. Mulan will be in China at 1:15. Talk about cutting it close!! It completely MADE Emma's vacation though!! And she talked poor Mulan's ear off asking her about the warrior duty she's been on. :lmao:

Mary sounds like you guys are having a great trip. Aren't the extended cruises wonderful!

Diana good luck on the house buying and hopefully Bruce's transfer comes through after the CP trip. Just think, no more icky, cold, snowy winters :yay:

Speaking of where to shop - where's the closest and best supermarket near WDW to pick up supplies? Is it still at the Crossroads?

Are we talking cost effective or close??

There is a Publix at the Outlets, and there is Goodings that is at the crossroads.

We actually just went to Walmart. There's one when you're coming from the airport at that intersection where the Caribe Royale is, before you get to the Nick Suites (don't even ask me the street!) You make a left at that light and it's probably not even a mile down the road--theres a small outlet mall on the left. Walmart is on the right. Great prices and they have everything you'd ever want or need.

Mary, it sounds like your having fun. Enjoy the rest of your cruise! :cool1:

Amy, it's "busy season" for us as well. Our next day with nothing written on the calendar is June 1st. Want to come for dinner that night? :dance3:

Welcome back, Diana. It sounds like you had a good trip and successful househunting. :thumbsup2

Sandy, nice to see you! I take it you and Judi have a trip to WDW on the horizon soon!

I was going through pictures of Member Homecoming this morning and I found this one:

Besides me and my boys, does anyone notice anyone else familiar to them in the picture? :rotfl2:

Thanks, Cheryl. Close and not expensive. We're taking ME from the airport and I have a one day rental from National that I'm picking up at the Dolphin. Where are the outlets?

I've actually been lurking lately. We have a trip planned at the end of the month. We have a wedding in Maryland on the 27th and I fly to Orlando on the 28th while Judy takes Amtrak and gets there on Tuesday. My two girls are joining us, plus a friend. My flight goes through Newark, so I meet up with them there. We'll be there until the 5th and staying at BWV.

It took me awhile, and I had to look, but is that Curt & Karen in the background?

And if I may add, WOW has Cameron grown!!

Nope, sorry, I'm busy that day with Chris' company picnic!!!:rotfl2: Maybe another time?!?!?!? It's just crazy with all the stuff we have going on, that I might actually be looking forward to summer break. I'm going to find some things to do around town, along with the library, the zoo, and of course, swimming lessons all summer.

I picked out Karen's red hair in a heart beat!
That is so funny. I might need to go thru some of my Homecoming pics and see if I see anyone I now know!!

Yep, Curt & Karen, just a couple of rows behind us. I just said to my kids, it's so weird to have a picture of someone a couple of years before we met. :cool1:

Anyone want to pick out Diana in that same picture?? To me, she's a lot harder to spot but if your up for a challenge, go for it! :hippie:
