Oooh I think there are a few others like that - we may have a photo of one if I can figure out where I have it stored - very cool!

A couple days late but...

:banana: :banana: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARK!:banana: :banana:

Very cool hidden Mickey. I don't think I would have seen that from the bus.

Spent the day with some friends from home. They are staying at the Liki Tiki (interval international). The pool area was very cool for the kids. The rooms are okay, not Disney standards but for $180 a night for a 1 bedroom I thought they were okay. The check-in was a night mare according to my friends. The condo's are about 7 miles from the Magic Kingdom (seemed much farther). It is so nice to be a DVC member! I LOVE MY DVC!:love:

I didn't know there were hidden Mickey's on the SSR roofs - I'll have to check that out in a few weeks! Another something new to add to my list!

Hi everyone!! I'll be meeting up with our DIS friends at the Tigers game in a little bit. The game actually started already, but it was the beginning of Madison's nap. So, we decided to let her get a nap and take her to the game in the middle, because they would have never sat through the whole thing anyway. Baseball is not for 2 and 5 yr olds, they just don't have that attention span. But, Jeff said that they'll let the kids run the bases after the game, so we figured the latter half would be better!!

Well, Chris wants the laptop, so I'm outta here!!!!

Hey - we missed Mary's birthday - it was this past week too!

Happy Birthday Mary!!!

OK, it looks like I slipped a little with the birthday wishes:

:cake: :bday: Happy Belated Birthday Jeff!!! :cake: :bday:

The Lakeland Meet went very well. The game was a VERY long 3 and a half hours in the Florida sun. Dinner was a lot of fun, then the kids played my Wii with Curt leading the charge. He worked up quite a sweat especially with the boxing. Will write more detailed version when I have more time. And the kids ran the bases after the game.

:woohoo::woohoo:Happy Birthday, Jeff:woohoo::woohoo:
:cheer2::cheer2:Happy Birthday, Mary:cheer2::cheer2:

Busy day "off" work today as I was at a conference over the weekend.
By 10am I had washed the kitchen floor (small floor but big job), done a wash (doggie wasn't feeling to well last night :sad2:), been to
the PO (mailed CJ's), been to the hallmark store (DH birthday and some other cards to get but I got a really good deal on a Martina McBride CD regularly $11 reduced to $2.74), been to the bank (to make a deposit is always a good thing :thumbsup2), and returned a powerpoint projector to the office. Then I had to study and complete home exam for review course this weekend. I just realized I never got the mail!! And of course the most necessary trip to AC Moore again (stickers and packing tape).
It's very hard to study when you want to play in your scrap room :confused3

Hi there:crazy:
I haven't been on the boards much the last week or so.
Alot going on in the house, I've been traveling for work. Nick's Boy Scouts and some other issues have kept us busy.
Jeff says "thanks" for the birthday wishes.

I need to say Happy Belated Birthday! to all those that I missed.

Well off to sit and read. Nick has to read 20 hours per marking period so need to do some quit time so I can relax and he can do some more of his reading.

Happy Belated Birthday, Mark, Mary and Jeff!

Hope everyone is doing well! I see alot of people are on trips...Safe travels to them!
We've been incredibly busy lately, both at home and work, so my internet time has been cut! I did a lil skimming of the posts, and will try to catch up when things slow down after easter for me!

The girls are on spring break this week, and we are not going to Disney:confused: Whats wrong with that picture??? I did manage to get tomorrow off, as did Tim, and we are taking the girls somewhere fun. Possibly the zoo, depending on the weather.

Not really alot new here, we have been busy cleaning, and painting, and just going through alot of junk we dont need! And enjoying the great weather we have had for the last few days! Hopefully it lasts! Well, I've gotta get ready for tomorrow...Night all!

The game was a little long in the Florida sun. It was nice to see everyone again! I am proud of myself for driving to Jeff's house and back and Kiele and I went to the M & M store in the Florida Mall. I did not even manage to get lost once. YEAH!

Thanks to Jeff for the introduction to the Wii. Now Kiele wants one when we renturn home.:rolleyes:

A couple of more days in Orlando and then we are heading home. It has been a fun "girls" trip.:cheer2:

The small town of Dwight Illinois, where I work the ambulance, recently had a Marine die in Iraq. I didnt know him but I have met his mother a few times in the local grocery store where she works. Yesterday was the funeral. Our local paper did a very moving tribute, for those who would like to view it.

Steve - that was very touching! Thank you for sharing that with us. What a wonderful showing of respect the entire community made :)

Steve - thanks for sharing that. It reminds me of a funeral procession I saw a number of months ago. It too was for a young man who died in Irag. It was one of the longest processions I have ever seen. Cross streets were blocked off with fire trucks. A larger number of vets on motorcycles were part of the processional and they all had large flags flying. Very moving.

Wow almost the bottom of page 2 I guess this one is drawing to a close:sad1:

Steve....I think/hope that it's just because some of the more "chatty" people are away this week. I'm not ready to give this group up just yet!

Sorry guys! I haven't been around much either. The girls are on spring break this week, so we've been busy. And, I've been chatting on my upcoming cruise thread, so that's keeping me busy too!!!
