My son and daughter-in-law are coming on this cruise. They will bouth be 26 at the time of the cruise and married for 2 1/2 years. Are there any other young couples on this cruise or will it just be us old folks?

Is that young mentally or physically?

Now that you mention that...I have two uncles that live in FL who are 18 and 20! The men in my family apparently like to get remarried to much younger women and have more kids.

Ok, here's where it gets weird in my extended family. I have an aunt that got married to her oldest daughter's ex-husband. And, it gets weirder, they both had children with this man, so they are half-sisters and aunt/neice. Now, THAT is weird!!!

Now, that's another thing to learn about me....I am SO not a hugger. I'm one of those--"this is my personal space, don't you dare think of invading it" type of people. I believe this came up on last years thread too.

i dont think people are intentiomly rude.
They just say dumb things.
2 times on the last member cruise David my oldest DS was assumed to be my DH!!
Crazy.

Speaking of David, we went to St Jude for his physical therapy appointment.
Hes going to be going 2 times a week until the 1st week of Jan.
if it dosent help, he will need to be fitted with a leg brace for his right leg and an orthodic for his left foot.
So prayers and good thoutghts would be appreciated

Has anyone finished Christmas shopping?
I have done a whole bunch.
DH wants parts for his mortorcycle, so I have to do m ail order for him.. or do it on line and it makes me nervous.

No, you're not by yourself. I was at MD appts with DH today but we did sneak in a bit of Christmas shopping too. I still have a lot more to do though. I'm not sure what I'm going to get for my staff at work yet. I just don't feel as prepared as I have in the past.

I've ordered a few things online this year from Disney but I know what you mean about being nervous. I don't like putting my information "out there".

Isn't that the truth. My first nephew was closer in age to me than my oldest brother (his father). My younger brother and I were ring bearer and flower girl in my oldest sisters wedding.

I think it's much more common today to have those spread out families and more accepted.....that is, except in Diana's case. Man, that teacher was a pill, wasn't she. I bet she wanted to die after talking to your stepmother.

Okay, that is really weird. A new definition of keeping it in the family.

My oldest sister divorced her husband. 2 years later they remarried.

As if that's not enough, my oldest brother divorced his wife. A couple years later, they also remarried.

I always wonder which anniversary they celebrate?

Oh my goodness
I just went and ordered him gloves for the motorcycle.
Those things were EXPENSIVE!!!!
They were $79!
But, they are for his safety and comfort and when riding a motorcycle, safety is the #1 concern.
Why couldnt he have a less expensive hobby, like cleaning the bathroom,,,,LOL
