I was thinking the same thing. But, maybe everyone is resting from all the stress this morning!!!

Ok, we're back from the craziest 4yo birthday party ever. The theme was Rock-n-Roll, and there was a band to entertain the adults (& children) and then there was a bounce house for the kids. What a blast, but I don't know that I could ever top a band at a kids party.

Well, now to catch up on the 3 pages that I have to read.

Well that sounds like an interesting party. I don't think I would ever consider a band for a party for a 4 year old. I think a lot of kids parties have just gotten way out of hand. Why do people need to keep up with the Jonses?

We are doing something different this year with Nick. A friend said she does this with her kids. Give them the option of a party or a "birthday buy back". The birthday buy back is instead of a party the child gets $100.
Nick picked that option for his 11th birthday because he wants to buy th nintendo ds.

Actually, the 4yo's mother is preparing for an event at her work and they were "previewing" the band for that gig. Kinda handy...

Thank you to all on the chat this morning. I booked our cabin and I have not told anyone in the family--they were all too busy shovelling snow this morning to pay attention to what Mom was doing. It took some time but I have our cabin #7003 and just have to tell my sons--who will be 93/4 and 4.5 as well as dh about the cruise. It will be our 15th wedding anniversary so I decided to surprise him with this trip.

I am looking forward to all the great tips/news etc from you guys. Once I find a picture I will go to the site and register.

I am so excited that I could bust--probably cause I have not told anyone yet

Good news.
I talked to my friend Tracie and she got on the cruise. She finally got thru around noon while at lunch in Epcot. Yep she is at the world and got in after me!
I told her about the boards and emailed her a link so hopefully we will have a new addition to the boards!
It will be her , DH , and twin DD's

What's funny is that is also the pic for our Christmas cards that we had made in Sept on the Wonder.

My t-shirts are going to be mailed out as cards?? That makes me practically a famous t-shirt maker! I smell another ebay business on the horizon!! Ugh--I was thinking today next year, the girls shirts won't fit, so I'll be making a whole new batch next September!

Chris says, no they had beer!! Actually, it really wasn't that bad. A little loud a few times, but overall a BLAST!! Good music and they were a lot of fun!

At least it wasn't as loud as Aerosmith! Maybe I didn't get disconnected that first time, maybe, just maybe it was my hearing!

We'll be cruising with some of our "upstairs neighbors".

I don't think I would have been able to keep a secret like that for longer then 10 minutes at the most!

Welcome!! Glad to have someone else around to talk about snow with. You'll find some people here (not mentioning any names) like to brag about 80 degree weather while we are digging out!

I am so glad we had chat today or I would have hung up with all the dead air. It was encouraging to hear that other people were actually talking to a live person.

I can't believe they had a band at a 4 year olds party. I bet the kids loved it. I like the idea of a birthday buy back. I will have to remember that for future use.
