Gail and Carol - Matt and I send our sympathy and prayers to you and are so sorry for your loss!

Gail and Carol - Judy and I also send our deepest condolences on your loss.

Gail and Carol - my deepest condolences to both of you and your families.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes, thoughts and prayers. It will be a rough few days with the funeral being on Tuesday. Tomorrow Carol and her family will come in and we have other relatives coming in from out of state.

We are all very sad, but realize he had a wonderful life. He was 83 and until 2004 when he had 2 relatively minor strokes he was very healthy and active. It's just so hard to let go.

We will be staying at a hotel since the funeral home is in my hometown (Taylor) and I now live about an hour away. It will make it a little less stressful not driving in each morning and having to drive back home each night.

Thanks again to you all, it's a small ray of sunshine knowing your friends are thinking of you. You guys are the best!

Gail and Carol -

Rich and I want to express our deepest condolences to both of you and your families. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers this week.

Hello everyone - I'm back from my wonderful trip with taking the Disney Magic over to the Med - now, when my brain catches up with me and my unpacking is done - or at the very least, I get my laundry done, I'll try and tell you just how wonderful a trip this was and how beautiful the ports were.

Mary - I tried to call you from the airport last night but with all the craziness of my connection to Detroit, I only got to try you once.

Gail and Carol - sorry to hear the sad news about your dad - :grouphug:

Welcome home Mary! Great to hear you had a wonderful trip. Sorry I missed your call. My cell phone is buried in my purse which usually is sitting in the kitchen. :sad1:

Happy Tuesday! :surfweb: It's going to be a quick week for us as the kids only have 3 days of school this week. 2 days next week and then 2 hours a week from tomorrow, and they are done. :cool1:

Cameron's "graduation" festivities start tomorrow, although he still has to go to school the rest of the days. They are having their 6th grade breakfast tomorrow morning, followed by a family & school get together where they reminisce about highlights of the kids school years there. I'm feeling a bit old thinking of junior high next year. :sad1: Thursday they have an all day field trip planned to a sports center, pizza lunch and then bowling for the afternoon. Next week is field day for the entire school so in all practicality, Cameron's school days are finished. I hope the homework is too.

We had gorgeous weather Sunday & Monday here. Monday, Cameron & I went to a Memorial Day ceremony which was rather touching and packed with people. The Boy Scouts helped out with the Flag Ceremony and then there was a picnic in the back of the church. Walker & Gary spent about 5 hours fishing - Walker still loves to catch any size fish, where Cameron is getting a little more selective and wants bigger fish on his line.

Mary, welcome home, glad you had some wonderful time away. I'd love to hear about it when you have some time.

Gail, I'm thinking of you over the last couple of days. I know today will be an especially hard one on you & your family.

Hey Cindy - have fun with all of Cameron's end of elementary school activities!! I'm sure that it will have a bit of fun and sadness in it, but what a great milestone!!!

We didn't do much of anything this weekend. We worked around the house and the girls swam in the pool a LOT!!! Chris took today off too, so he's got a really short week! Plus, we have his company picnic on Friday, so his office closes early on Friday too.

The girls start swim lessons tonight, and I just know that Madison is going to love it!! Emily did it all last summer, but Maddie wasn't 3 yet, so she could only do the parent/child class, not real swim lessons.

I'm nursing a wicked hangover this morning---so I couldn't tell you what I did yesterday! :lmao:

I can't believe Cameron is moving on to junior high!!

Welcome back Mary, can't wait to hear about the cruise!

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Hope you feel better soon.

Hope you're feeling better soon!!!

Gail - our thoughts and prayers are with you today as you lay your father to rest!! God Bless!!!

Mary - Welcome back from your cruise!! We want to hear all about it!! And, thanks again for saying HI to Heather from S. Africa for us!!!

Welcome back Mary! I cant wait to see all the wonderful pictures, and hear all the details!

Cindy, What a memorable milestone, graduating from 6th grade! I bet Cameron is excited!

Diana...Hope the hangovers better soon!

This weekend, we stayed around the house, and took up the carpet in the dining room, and emptied the whole kitchen out! Tim was a little upset that he couldnt do much, but I managed with a little help from him! Hes back at work today on light duty, lets see how this goes for him. Well I have to get back to my laundry, I took a half day off, and its almost time for me to head into work, and get busy! Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Hi everyone!!!

It's rained here everyday now for 5 days and it seems like forever! Of course now that I am at the office it's sunny :headache: Does anyone need rain? I'll be happy to mail it to you :lmao:

Gail and Carol  to you today!
