I worked at Stratford for a while too. It's amazing that I can talk to you about the places I know back home.

It is, isn't it. Really a small world when it comes down to it.

Amy grew up living in the same area when I've lived all of my life. Someday, Amy & her family are going to fly up to Chicago and stop by for a visit. The weirdest thing about that will be I won't have to give Amy any directions to get to my house -- as she already knows where I live, although she's never been here.

Hi we are going on the cruise too. I've been on three but this is the first member cruise. I'm confused how to read this board, any tips? I've been on and off DIS since 1999 and never really got the hang of how to view recent posts without wading through all the others. Looking forward to meeting more of you.

Welcome aboard! The best tip to reading the board is to try and check in each day. Ok not all day like some of us. Some of the threads like this one do seem to move fast!

Subscribing helps and when you see the thread with a blue box with a V in it in front of the thread that means there are new messages. Click on that box and it should take you to your first unread message (doesn't always perfectly but it does work).

Funny coincidence about Bear (TZ moment here) - my mom bought me a bear, right before I left for college to be with me while I was away back in 1987. My bear looks just like your bear, except mine is all white, not beige & white. And today, my bear sits on Emily's bed. I can't believe that he's almost 20 years old. He's more off-white now, but he's too special to get rid of him.

Yep another TZ moment. Snuffles (Bears real name) are good for being there for you. Nice to know his cousin has a good home.

Thanks! We are being picked up about 2:45 or so for a 5:10 flight so I think we'll be fine. Just hope the snow isn't falling too hard so that we can get out of town. Looking forward to getting back to Disneyland and seeing it all decorated for the holidays!

I also recommend just subscribing to the thread. We are a chatty bunch and it's hard to keep up, so don't feel like you need to....just chime in whenever you feel like it! And if you have a specific question just ask!

OMG - Yes, his name is Snuffles. I forgot ALL about that. They are really good for squeezing tight!!!
