We are not sure what to name her yet but here she is! Our new BOAT. I have wanted a fishing boat and Coleen wanted a cruising boat so we bought a Fish N Ski

I cant wait till it warms up around here so we can use it

Steve I broke the news to John about your boat. He asked me what kind you bought and I told him the kind that goes on the water You'll have to give him the details.

Wow Steve - really nice boat! Chris wants a boat too, since we live near all this water, but I don't see it in the cards for us for several more years. Besides, for now, we have plenty of friends with boats that we get to ride in, so it works!!

I'm sure that you're going to have a blast when it gets warmer!!!

Anyone else get their DVC planner? We got ours today and the packaging was so flimsy when the mailman put it in the mailbox the envelope tore open and the spine broke and you can't turn the pages in it.

We got ours today and the spine was ripped up. I can still use it but it looks worse than the ones I have from the previous years. The odd thing was, the envelope wasn't even tore. I wonder what kind of shape they were in before going into the envelope?

Sorry ladies I guess you have to live thousands of miles away to receive a pristine DVC book. Ours is in perfect shape and we live in Oregon. DH and I were discussing how much the publishing must have cost for these books. Seems like a big expense for an annual book when most of the information is easy to find online anyway. Sorry yours did not ship very well because they are nicer books than in previous years.

Seems like forever since I have posted. I ended up having laser eye surgery less than two weeks ago and I am still having a hard time with really clear vision for work and computer reading. Apparently, it can take several MONTHS for really clear vision to shine through Let's just say I am not driving a car at night for awhile

Heck yea, we'll meet up for drinks!! How about a martini tasting or something like that? Do you guys have early or late seating? We're on late right now although I'm going to try to get it changed to early onboard. We're in 2528.

Tina - your kitchen is gorgeous!

Got my planner but the mail seems to go to my son's house instead of ours - don't understand that but will have to try and fix it all when I get home.

I'm leaving for WDW on Friday - sure do need some warm temps to feel better and I'm hoping that this is the cure I need. I go see a specialist when I get home and I hate taking meds but they already have me on 3 of different pills right now - I don't feel them helping much but am told to give it time.
Anyway, I'll enjoy a week of some RnR and check in when I can.

Steve - nice boat - I'm sure you and Coleen will enjoy lots of fun times!

We got our planner the other day too, Diana! But, ours did arrive in good shape. I do have to question why they send them to us too, because it's a pretty nice book, that probably costs a large sum of $$$, and I'll probably never really look at it again, because all the info in it, I can find online!!!

Tina - nice kitchen!!! Love those countertops!!!

Mary - have fun at WDW!!! It's been around the 70s here lately, but we have had some rain (yuck). But, overall, it's been really nice!

Tina the kitchen looks great. I love the counter tops and you have the double drawer dishwasher! That's cool! How do you like the dishwasher?

Mary safe travels to Florida this week, at least there's no driving down this time!

The money they spent on the planners had to be a nice sum. I usually look up the points on line also. Now if they would quit sending me weekly notices about extending my OKW points. I guess they didn't understand the X in the NO box that I sent back before Christmas.

Martini tasting may work, we did it last time, and enjoyed it! We are on late, my parents like to eat late, so we did late for them...We are in 6609...just let me know, and we'll set something up!

The double drawer is great, I like it because I can run the dishes from the cooking as we are eating, and then run the rest after we finish...No complaints at all! Lots of room!

I agree about the planners, we really dont ever use it! We go online and check the points charts...So much easier! We should tell them to save their $$$.

Just heard some really sad news, a girl (for a long time we were really close, her parents were like my parents, and then college happened) that I went to HS with lost her mom after her dad shot and killed her...Here is a copy of the article...I'm sad because I didnt find out until after the funeral and wake...
