Now you need to start working on your friend Stacy and tell her the car is ready and warmed up....pack her bags so we can go see you guys!!

We're flying in on Friday, December 1st to spend the weekend with my brother, sister-in-law and nephew and my best friend from High School and her family. Then, of course, I couldn't pass up a chance to visit my DIS friends too. And, then Gail decided to come too and then everyone met it MI this weekend and I guess a few have decided to come to Chicago too. YIPPEE for us!!!

Anyway, we're staying at the Doubletree Hotel in Rosemont (I think that's on River Road) on Friday and Saturday night. I'll be spending most of Friday with my family. We're going to go to the big craft fair at the convention center in Rosemont. Then, Saturday is my DIS day. I think that we're going to lunch and then possibly heading downtown for shopping and seeing the holiday lights and decorations on State St and along Michigan Ave.

On Sunday, our plan is to have breakfast and then we're going to my nephew's 1st birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's (fun, fun, fun)!!!

Amy,

My CD's are in the mail!!!!!!

Great!!! That reminds me that we received Diana's in the mail today!!!

Ok, we got our new TV today and I'm SO excited. We ended up getting a GREAT deal on a 42" plasma Hitachi and it was delivered today. WOW!!! It's pretty awesome. Now, our old TV was on it's last leg where it would take 20 minutes for the TV to warm up and show the picture, so anything would be great. But, I really do like this TV!!! I'm gonna have fun watching it tonight!!!

Sounds like a plan for you guys in Chicago - FUN!

Oh I need to send the CD and I've been very lax on getting the waterproof camera out - off to do that tonight.

Nick is doing better today. HE slept with me last night and held my hand all night long. This morning he was a bit nervous because of the broken door. BUT he seems to be good now. We are going to Home Depot to pick up another door.

Did the police find anything?

Here's hoping tonight is calmer pixiedust: although with an unexpected home improvement project, it might be a long night. Usually in our house, nothing goes as expected and a little project turns into a major headache.

Chicago is even further away than Detroit is from us!!

I've been working on Bruce since Gary talked to him on Saturday night. Problem being that airfare is way high because I guess people want to go to Chicago during the holiday season? AND the thought of riding 13 hours in the car with Emma and Julia makes me want to ride on the roof racks to Chicago. If I only can convince a driving companion to tag along---:scratchin
Driving companion.....who could that be..... :scratchin

That's great that you have a date set!

Glad you got a date for the surgery. The 7th will only be 1 week and 2 days after your surgery. You shouldn't be in any pain but you might tire very easily. It took me about 2-3 weeks to feel back to 100%. The pain was very minimal, I think I only took pain pills the day I came home and 1 or 2 nights after that. Then again you are much younger than I am so you might have an easier time and won't get tired out as easily. pixiedust:
When they did mine they couldn't do it laproscopically due to scarring and stuff from prior surgeries plus they had to fix some other stuff while they were in there. I was actually back to work full time in 2 weeks with no problems.

And, don't forget, some of us are not from MI and staying there as well.

Yes, it's the Doubletree on River Road.

Chuck E Cheeses --- let me guess, the one on Barrington?? :rotfl2: If so, I'll throw you a rock when we get home.
