Sorry for the interruption....have a picture of a couple of people you all might know. This is from dinner at Palo on the September 11 night cruise:

Very nice. I think I recognize a couple of them. ;)

I can't wait to do a longer cruise than a 4 day --- one of these times!!

Thanks gang!

Oh my, no wonder you have been a little stressed over their sending the wrong ones. I remember reading a post about sending ones without zippers, but I didn't know what they were for. Now I know! I hope everything goes smoothly for you from here on out. Hey, it rained today! What more could we ask for?

I know - rain is good here, just not in florida :)

What a great looking group and I even met most of them! Looks like a good time was had by all! Was this the same night John was dispensing Charmin?:lmao:

STUNNING photo - really stunning group and it looks like you had fun!

If I've missed this topic in all the clutter here - sorry but what does everyone think about tipping on our Members Cruise when we have brunch or dinner at Palo's? If tips are included in the points / price we paid for this special cruise, does that mean DVC / DCL has already provided appropriate tip income to the Palo waiters and servers? Or does the "tips included" only apply to the Main Dining room staff?

The tips included would only be for your main serving staff and your room steward. Anything you do extra like Palo, the spa, the bars, etc. you would have to tip on your own.

I think we all agreed that Paolo's and Bar tips are not included.

Yes.....:rotfl: ....he makes a pretty good butler. And an even prettier woman. I'll be in trouble for revealing his secrets, but he won the "Prettiest Man" contest.

:rotfl2: right cause I want to wait in line behind almost 50 CRAZY people that met on the internet ;)

Where, at the terminal? There is no line in the terminal anymore, no zigzag, nada. You get a group number when you arrive and they board the ship by that number.

Well, I had to wait until I was almost 50 years old and the kids were nearly grown. But it was worth the wait.

Julie I'm so glad that the bags are finally right. :cool1:

The mailman brought us a package tonight. It was the girls dresses for pirate night from England. I am so excited. They came in less than one week. The girls decided they wanted to be Elizabeth and we looked on E-bay and found white or gold dresses. They wanted the gold ones. The only problem was that I could only find ones in England that were afforable. They told me it would take seven to ten days and it took six. I can't wait for the girls to come home from gym to see them.

What are the welcome bags for?

You might've missed this - Julie's getting married after the cruise and those are for her wedding guests. She's managed to get two wrong batches, and finally the right one :)

I wouldn't have had a problem with producing id. I may not have liked being asked but that's not what frosted me with the situation.

As I told the manager, I would have preferred that she kept her sarcastic "welcome home" to herself. Say nothing instead of doing it begrudingly. :(

Gotcha. Sorry I misunderstood.

Okay, so I'm 21 pages behind (that's what going to work does to you) but I had to share my exciting news!! I won the trivia contest on the MouseTunes podcast!! The question was NOT Disney related, but I still was shocked to hear my name announced as I was listening to the podcast in the car this morning! My prize is a WDW Trivia book!

Congratulations, that is very cool!

This sounds like me when I went into a yarn shop in Williamsburg last summer, except Ken was in the car making business calls on his cell phone!

I guess we all have our own addictions....but now it seems I'm adding a second one thanks to everyone here!

Ahhh you and me both Mary! I can't wait for next Friday as I'll be in NY at the Rhinebeck wool festival. Have you been? What are you knitting now? Are you a one project knitter or do you have many going at once? I was challenged by a friend to make a spreadsheet. It has all current projects and the bag it's in, LOL, and all future planned projects. I have about 18 projects in process...YIKES!:scared1:
