I love your family pirate picture, Cindy!! We didn't end up getting a good picture because Emily refused to leave the club in order to put on her costume. Then, on the Valentine's cruise, she did the same thing until really late then we missed Mickey in his pirate outfit. She wasn't a happy camper. So, this year, I'm going to try my best to keep her out of the club on Pirate night, so she doesn't miss it again this year.

I just wanted to apologize for posting the 22000 as I was not trying - HONEST - to do it. I can't keep up anymore between work, wedding, pc problems at home, camera problems and missing welcome bags.

Sorry you guys!

SANDY - congrats!

Julie, don't feel bad. It's really all in fun.

Remember last year when none of us would post on the major # posts and then we'd sit there until someone else did?

Or, remember when Diana was saving her major post for booking day and then, out of the blue, Bruce the Shark appeared? :teeth:

I have been thinking a lot about the people and friendships we made last cruise thread that for whatever reason the people are not sailing again this year. There are a few who left a lasting impression on me, Noreen (nezy) and Lisa (hookdonwdw). It makes me sad that they are not cruising this year, but also because I suspect next year you'll all be having a great time and we won't be joining you as well. :sad1: I'm happy there are new friends on this cruise, but a trip down memory lane was on my afternoon agenda, I suspect. Sorry, back to happier thoughts! :)

Now I have a Chicago area idea. :)

Maybe we can plan to meet up at a place like Archivers every couple of months to do our next circle journals together. The way I count it, we're going to have 4 of us in the exchange (Tina, Steve, Mary & myself) and it would make things a lot easier as far as passing onto the next person if we were to get together. I know the way Amy set up this years is that Mary passes the journals on to me when she's done. So, I'm thinking, for simplicity, she'll probably do the same this year.

ETA: Mary, you must have been typing this as I was thinking mine out.

That sounds like a great plan...then maybe I can have some of your expertise help with my CJ...I have no idea what I am doing!

I was looking for a different picture of my circle journal to post and didn't have any luck finding it. But, I did find this one from pirate night last cruise.

Nor did I and Mary held my hand through the start of mine. I'll be happy to pay it forward. :thumbsup2

I don't scrapbook. I buy stuff but don't really have the time to sit and actually do it. I've been to 1 crop -- and I worked on my circle journals there. I was very intimidated by the entire process. For the most part, I'm happy with the pages I did for the circle journal (except Stacy's :( ) but I had a lot of fun doing it. If everyone else can handle how my pages turned out in their books, I'm looking forward to participating in the next one as well.

Sounds like a great plan to me too (I thought I had posted that but it was lost in space).

what is there to be sorry about...someone had to get it...we wanted to get to 22000...so dont worry about it!

Yes, the Castaway Club Gift (puzzle) that I got was for being on the 11 night cruise. It was a shore survival kit enticing us to book another cruise. I'm glad they didn't check to see I was already booked on another one on 10/22!

No worries Julie - milestones are always up for grabs. That's part of the fun! Especially when a pirate: pops up unexpectedly! We'll just have to have a few more milestones before cruise time to have more fun!

Me too! I'm thinking that alot of them couldn't swing it another year in a row. It's only been a little over a year since our last member cruise! Can't wait to see the gifts we get this year.

Mary-you only need 21 more posts for your next milestone!

You made me go all the way back 9 million pages to look! :rotfl2: It was actually Ann Marie, but you were posting around the same time!

OK...thats 500 posts...and I can barely keep up...I still have 1 or 2 pages to catch up on! :thumbsup2

Come on! 600 is a acceptable total by the cruise!

Okay, so I'm 21 pages behind (that's what going to work does to you) but I had to share my exciting news!! I won the trivia contest on the MouseTunes podcast!! The question was NOT Disney related, but I still was shocked to hear my name announced as I was listening to the podcast in the car this morning! My prize is a WDW Trivia book!
