Has anyone received their DCL Castaway Club gift Linda (seaulater) wrote about yet??? :confused3

Didn't Linda get that after the 11 day? I read the thread and it seems very random and not all gifts are the same.... plus I didn't expect anything until after the cruise if even.

I was looking for a different picture of my circle journal to post and didn't have any luck finding it. But, I did find this one from pirate night last cruise.

DARN!! I was just in the Disney Store Outlet yesterday and they had an I <3 with a picture of Capt Jack Sparrow on it!! It was like $2.99!!!

You don't happen to have any plans of going back do you ;) Were the shirts kids or adults? She's in that funny stage where kids shirts are a bit on the small side, but adult shirts are too big, so buying her anything is a pain.

Amy did a great job with the '05 one of making transitions easy for those who lived close. She had Cindy and I paired off, she and Cheryl, and Diana and Stacy. Gave us an excuse to get together instead of just mailing it off.
I plan to do the same thing for next year. Not only does it save money on shipping, but it also facilitates mini-DIS meets. :thumbsup2

Congratulations, Tina. :chat: :chat: :chat:

I'm thinking we'll be congratulating Steve again soon too. Man, Steve, you are on a roll these days!

Congrats to Julie on post #22,000!

Congrats to Sandy on reply #22,000!

I just wanted to apologize for posting the 22000 as I was not trying - HONEST - to do it. I can't keep up anymore between work, wedding, pc problems at home, camera problems and missing welcome bags.

Sorry you guys!

SANDY - congrats!

Not to mention the fact that if YOU pick it out, it will be the worse thing in the world. But, let a friend pick out the same thing, and it's the best.

Pre-teens. :(

Cindy I love your picture. I am going to have a pirate t-shirt and jeans for dinner and change into shorts after for the party.

LOL

Thanks for the extra special gift yesterday David! I can't wait to take photos and share them.

Speaking of which here is one of me looking a bit like a special dwarf (that would be dopey) sitting in my dress this weekend trying on a sweater I have to see if it would match just in case

The sweater looks great, hoepfully you wont need it!

Congrats to Sandy on reply #22,000!

At this pace I am never going to get my house clean.

They were adults. Considering the outlets are an hour and half away and yesterday was the only day I could possibly go before we leave....I won't be going back. Last year there was a girl that lived pretty close to there on our cruise, Stephanie, but she's not cruising with us this year, so you're outta luck.

Stacy actually convinced me to go because I had seen this jacket there about 4 weeks ago at the North Face Outlet. It was so cute, but it was $169. I didn't want to spend that much, but I desperately need a new winter coat. I figured I'd just find a different, cheaper one here. So I looked and looked and looked....and nothing came close to this coat. I loved that coat and dreamed about it. Bruce all the while has been yelling at me saying he TOLD me to buy it, so it's my fault and I should suffer! So I ran down yesterday, got to the North Face outlet and prayed and prayed. There was a whole rack full of them when I was there last---and I found 1 coat and miraculously it was in my size!!! Here's the kicker--it rang up for $84!!!! It's baby blue and OH SO WARM!!!

I also snagged the cutest jean shorts for the girls at the Disney Store for $4 a pair.

It was advertised in our Community paper, and it was held at a scrapbook store that is 1/2 mile from me. Funny, I never noticed the store there before - now I know :thumbsup2

Actually if you check at any scrapbook stores near you, you can sign up for beginners classes.
I'm going to look into the classes...Thanks!
