We did this last cruise for Walker. Sadly, he was asleep by the time they arrived --- and room service is very quick it's just that he was so tired.

Well, party day is here and I have a few more things to do around the house. Thankfully, the party isn't until 1pm. I sure hope that Emily is happy with this party. Now I remember why next year I should have the party somewhere else!!!

You don't have to be a child to eat like one!

DCL has some wonderful food and some very decadant desserts, but sometimes you just want something simple and classic. For a quick meal on the go check out the chicken fingers from Pluto's up on deck 9 by the Mickey Pool.

Don't hesitate to ask your server for a Mickey Bar for dessert (off the kid's menu). They will be happy to deliver it to you. It comes in a bowl, covered with sprinkles! We find them to be a much better quality than the ones in the parks.

That's awesome! It's too bad that they won't be able to compete due to being on the cruise.

My daughter won't be on the cruise. Band is too important to her so its just my mom and me this time around. My husband is staying home to make sure she gets where she needs to be that week. I asked them to email me so I can see how they scored because they won't get the scores until around 10pm (CST) that night. I don't know if we will be close enough to a phone tower to get cell phone coverage on Wednesday night since we dock on Thursday morning.

Thanks for all the thoughts everyone. Yesterday is behind us and the cruise is ahead. Annmarie is right - we'll be traveling with people who "get it" and that is what makes it even better.


Cindy I would have been happy to switch with you but honestly it wouldn't have been fair. While I love my in-laws no one deserves to have to spend time with them. They just are not the most social people and quite frankly I think that you all have taken us away from them. They think the only reason we won't travel with them is all of you.

This is awesome news! I think every doctor should prescribe a cruise at least once per year!

Yeah, and it should be covered by our health insurance. Maybe a $20 co-pay.

What a week it turned out to be - sort of like riding on a roller coaster for many posters it sounds like. Ya think maybe it was the full moon rising?

Hey everyone. I'm at the Apple Store. Just finished the BAB shopping spree. The kids ended up with over $338 worth of stuff!!!! WOW. Will post pictures when I get home.

And, yes, they did somewhat rearrange the store since Thursday but they let us come in 15 minutes early to look around and said we could move things to lower shelves if we needed to. So we did....and put things *together* too.

I LOVE Schoolhouse Rock! I have lots of the songs on my ipod. My favorite is Three Is a Magic Number.

Yup, Three Is a Magic Number. That gets sung around here all the time. We love Schoolhouse Rock, too. We even put a song or two on our wedding CD.

I have an old VHS copy of Grammar Rock and America Rock....too bad it's not DVD or we could do karaoke at the DIS meet!

We have the DVD set. Ian loves watching it (when I remember to put it on for him.)

We did the same thing, but it was a black mat and had everyone sign in gold & silver and we put our wedding picture in it.

Thats always a good thing...A very close friend of mine is a jeweler...I went to see him last week and hes making me a tinkerbell charm bracelet...he promised it to me before the cruise.

Ooooh, I hope he finishes it before the cruise too. I'd love to see it!
