Not real hungry or have kids that want to head right to the pools - then head up to deck 9. Grab a table and chairs by the pool. You can grab burgers, hot dogs and chicken fingers at Plutos. Also one person in your party can go through the buffet at Beach Blanket and bring back food to the table.

This is where we'll be!!! :thumbsup2

Did anyone else receive a survey from Jim Lewis? It's to participate in the 2006 Annual Condo Association survey. Asks for our opinion on topics such as member satisfaction, exchange options and member benefits. I think I'll respond to it tomorrow.

Not yet. Was this regular mail?

We got it about a week ago and did it one night this past week. Sure survey's we get but we haven't seen our print yet. :)

 my turn!

Let's do a series of "what ifs" this time.

What if you only had one hour in any Disney park. What hour would you spend and what would you do? It depends. Am I alone or with my kids. I would chose MK by myself and hit all the rides in Fantasyland. My kids would chose Epcot and probably ride MS non-stop.

What if you only had one hour on Castaway Cay. How would you spend it?

:drinking1K :drinking1 O :drinking1 N :drinking1K :drinking1:drinking1K :drinking1O :drinking1 O :drinking1L :drinking1E :drinking1R :drinking1S :drinking1

What if you had the opportunity to go to a Disney park you've never been to before. Which one would you choose? I've been there before but it's been a lifetime ago --- but one of these days our family is going to Disneyland.

What if you were given an unlimited fast pass but you could only use it in one park. Which park would you choose? Definately the MK

What if you were given 100 DVC points to any DVC property free of charge (you would have to pay dues). Which property would you pick and why? Tough one --- probably SSR. Hilton Head is also a thought but it's very different from WDW.

Ok and welcome bag update - second shipment of 50 bags.... and they don't have zippers either - DOH! We've called the company and they are on the phone with the warehouse trying to figure out what the problem is.

Unbelievable!! I'm sure now they are figuring that you are scamming them which is why they want them all back. I hope you get the replacements quick!!

Has anyone heard that Soarin' is going to be revamped to show Florida instead of California?

Did I read this here or did I hear this in WDW last trip?

And....I have another question about Soarin. What is the actors name who plays Patrick?

Just curious if anyone else is staying on board after the DVC cruise for another go-round or is it just us? We just couldn't pass up the opportunity for CC 3x in one week. :cool1:

:tigger:

:welcome: to our group. I see you've jumped right in and started with our fun.

Patrick Warburton http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0911320/

I had heard a while ago that the eventual plan was that the movie would be changed for WDW. Can't remember if it was supposed to be just Florida or all of the US.

Thanks.

Now I can sleep better tonight ;) Do you ever have things that you just can't figure out that bother you until you do? And, then you scratch your head and wonder why they were so important?? ;)

All the time! :rotfl:

Looks like 19,000 could come today (or tonight)!

Some items for the Navigator. A couple people expressed an interest to have all the things we've talked about on the thread in the navigator so they don't forget and I agree. However that means we have to agree on a few things so I can get them in place this weekend.

MNSSHP - I think the general opinion is to meet at 5:30 at the Liberty Bell. Someone speak up if this is wrong as this is what is going in the navigator.

Julie's bachlorette get-together. Meeting Tuesday night at 9:30 pm at the tables by the adult pool. Again someone correct me if I'm wrong or this is how it is going in.

Morning walks. A number of us have talked about getting together for a morning walk down on deck 4. What time does everyone want to meet? Roxann and I were talking about this in chat early last night. I suggested 6:30 which is before breakfast, she suggested after breakfast. What does everyone want to do? We could always set up two times (we did that on the 10 day cruise). Not that I made it any of the 10 days :guilty: Also do we want to set up a meet spot? On the 10 day they used the Walt Mural outside the Walt Disney theatre as the meeting spot. Come on walkers let's hear from you!

All the other meets are pretty well set and on the front page of the navigator. These will most likely be on one of the inside pages. I'm going to configure things a little different than I did in May to make this work.

Guys - have you set up a time and place to get together with Matt? I think I heard Diversons. Yes???? Also at 9:30 on Tuesday? Let me know.

Anyone have anything else they want to add in?

MNSSHP Meet--sounds good to me!

Julie's Shindig--good as well

Walking--I'd be in for 6:30, but I'm sure most people won't be! I usually walk Deck 10 because I like the view and lack of crowds that early but I'd be open to anything.

So would I get mother of the year if I give my family Julia's birthday cake for breakfast? Emma suggested it and Bruce was all to happy to chime in. Now they are all saying Cake Cake Cake. I don't think I'll win this battle, and it is a special day, plus cake has some nutritional value. :scratchin

Anyone ever see that Bill Cosby routine--Dad is great, he gives us chocolate cake. :rotfl: That's my DH. :sad2:

I say give the girls cake for breakfast. Can it really hurt? Is it THAT much different than a bowl of Trix or a poptart?

I find that if I do "crazy" stuff like that once in awhile, THAT is what the kids remember. "Remember the time Mom let us have cake for breakfast?" They are NOT going to grow up and say "Remember that mom always fed us a really nutritious, stick to our ribs breakfast?"

Yes. Bill Cosby had it right. And it has helped me to justify a lot in my life......

Chocolate? It's good for you. After all, MILK chocolate is a dairy food.
And chocolate is made from the cacao bean. Beans are a vegetable....

therefore good for you. :)

I can usually find SOMETHING healthy about every food. :)

Speaking of....Mike used to eat one of those Slimfast meal bars every morning for breakfast.....and then we started comparing the nutritional label to that of poptarts. Ya know, there really wasn't much of a difference!!!! Seriously. If memory serves me correctly, the poptart was a bit higher in sugars, but other than that they were pretty darn close.

And poptarts are cheaper! :) :lmao:

Let's meet in Diana's room :rotfl:

JUST KIDDING

Ok I didn't venture out much either - so someone suggest a spot even if we meet and move on. Let's say 9:30 and if the show lets out late we'll meet as soon as it's over.

Count me in too!

Morning!

I agree FUN stuff to eat today. Cake and icecream for breakfast works for me. Be right over.

It is great to remember those different and fun things we did.

I don't think I voted because Gary & I haven't tossed our coins yet to see which one of us gets to go out of the cabin on which mornings. But.....if it works for me to join in, I'll be there.

My personal vote and opinion would be the 6:30 time frame. After breakfast, I'm hoping the DVC is going to have things planned. Does anyone remember what time they started last cruise? I remember Duckie was at 10, I think, and we came to that presentation from another one.

So, just in the sake of trying to fit everything in, I think earlier would be a better plan.
