Last year I was told we had order forms with our documents to purchase DVC merchandise, THis year we did not get anything. DId I miss something? Frank

This year it seems we will be able to purchas the items onboard the ship rather than pre-order like we did last year.

Good morning Frank! There are no pre-orders this year but there will be merchandise available on board. This from the 4th DVC e-mail we got:

For those who aren't morning people or for morning people who just want to relax - have room service deliver you a fresh pot. Just hang the menu outside your door before you go to bed.

Do you have long rides to work, WHEN do you find time to listen to them. I have a 3 min ride to work, lol. I do listen to books on my ipod though, I download them from audible.com

Yep, it's 40 minutes each way, so I can usually get through 1.5 podcasts each trip. Sometimes I'll plug in the iPod and clip it to me and listen while I'm doing chores around the house too.

Should have posted this yesterday! Mark and I are doing the single digit dance!

We leave for our road trip in just 8 days!

I have decided I cannot work anymore until after the cruise. It takes my too long to catch up on the DIS

And today is my last work day before the cruise!! Maybe I can actually start packing if people would just slow down on the posting!!!

Here is my finished can, unless I decide to varnish it somehow and change the straws when I find red ones. I guess it's not too bad for a first try, it
is what I envisioned except I didn't have a tool to make the yellow and black ovals so I just did them freehand and they are a little jagged around the edges but I'm ok with it. Thanks for the inspiration!

DH was with me and looking at the black and red books. I think he might be interested in showing me how to do this. (I'm hoping here) He's much more creative than me. He's just never done this before.

Gary is the same way. I really think if he started scrapping, he would truly enjoy it. Gary has the knack of looking at the details and could defnately do much better than I will ever care to do. But, so far, he's been hesitant to try.
