I think it was Bear!

But he didn't come to Easton with us. :(
Even though that's true....he should keep his eye on the mailbox. Something is coming his way (if I can get off of the DIS long enough to package it up!)

Okay I am all about post counts the last two days BUT I am going to bed now.
I was up for 'bulance calls twice last night and on FD Chief call tonight. So I will catch up with the rest of tonights posts in the AM

He was in the car in the Easton parking garage. :)

Yep - I sent it to a few that didn't have it in their signature yet.

HOLY COW!!! :earseek: This is the first I've had a chance to get on the computer today and I see I have nearly 30 pages to catch up on again. What, don't you people have anything better to do? :rotfl2: I don't know how I'm going to get us packed and ready to leave by Saturday if I have this much to read every day!

:dancer: party: :dancer:
WE ARE DOING THE HAPPY DANCE HERE!
:dancer: party: :dancer:

:cheer2: OUR DOCS FINALLY ARRIVED! :cheer2:

I'll try to catch up later, but for now it's time for dinner...

OK - Don't you guys have anything better to do but stare at a computer all day??? I'm over 100 pages behind! I was trying to catch up but gave up.

We enjoyed our trip to Latham, NY. We went to Howe Caverns on Saturday and Liberty Farm's corn maze on Sunday. On the way home from the maze I saw a sign that said Clifton Park 5 miles, Schenectady 16 miles and thought of Stacey and Diana. Kind of weird because I have never even actually met you yet, but thought of you while on vacation, kinda weird.

Then.........
DH started having pains on his tailbone area Sunday evening. He was in terrible pain all night so we left as early as possible on Monday and made it home in time to get to our Dr. He has something called a pilonidal cyst that has a really bad infection. After wondering all last night if we would even be able to go on vacation, the general surgeon gave us the go ahead after he tortured my husband cutting it open and cleaning it out. He is a hurting puppy right now. He is on 2 antibiotics and pain meds. The one antibiotic makes him sick to his stomach so he is going to call his doc tomorrow to see if it can be changed. We go for a recheck next Tuesday and leave for vacation on Thursday.
My nephew is doing well after being stitched up. Thanks for the pixie dust.

Sorry for all the milestones I missed commenting on but some of us have to work to pay for our vacations. And just to add to the challange, the auditors are at my work for the next two weeks and I have to get the October bills together before next Wednesday so I can't try to catch up while I'm at work.

I'll check in when I can. Thanks in advance for any pixie dust and prayers coming our way.

Chris

PS Our docs arrived over the weekend, my Mom called to let us know they were here and safe from the rain - woo hoo

Amy - I think you mentioned that once before. Aren't they just the cutest?

Chris - prayers and pixie dust to you. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now.

And, now that I think about it, I've had him for almost 20 years now. I got him when I graduated from high school from my mom. It will be 20 years next Spring.

Small world- I just moved down here from Latham in June. I did get to meet Stacey and Diana once before I left NY. I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

I still have some outlining and brads to add to those pages, now I just need to print some pictures to add to the pages.
Love the pages Gail. Are you going to share the rest? (Maybe you already have, I just have to wade through 45+ pages from today to find out.)

HI! Haven't posted any this time around. Hubby and I took advantage of getting the extra points last cruise and are cashing in for our Paris trip right before we get onboard for the member cruise! I can never remember from time to time what to put on those blasted immigration forms. What's our official date of arrival, do we have to put a travel agency on there, how many nights do we have to say we're there - since we're only on a Bahamian property during the day and is the boat considered a hotel? Thanks!

No, I only scanned 6 of them. I didn't want to clog up the thread :rotfl2:

Diana, I'm really glad to hear your having Julia evaluated. Even if it turns out she doesn't need any services, it's a huge step to be able to make that call. Many, many parents wouldn't even do that -- for fear of finding out their child isn't perfect. All children are perfect, just is many different ways, as I know Julia is too. I've seen it a lot where parents just don't want to face what might be ahead of them. It's great that you are being realistic.
Oh so true. My oldest niece is deaf and my sister noticed it right away. But the pediatrician my sister took her to at first didn't even want to discuss the possibility with her until DN was 3 months old. Once "officially" diagnosed my sister & BIL have done everything possible to make like easier for my niece. But the stories I've heard about parents that ignore the fact that their children can't hear, I guess in hopes it will go away or something, are just amazing. And once they do find out the problem they still ignore it, so the only stimulation those kids get is at school. :sad2:

Diana, hats off to you for being proactive! :thumbsup2
