After school, she gets to choose where she wants to eat dinner for her birthday. She's been cracking me up about this because she's changed her mind every day for the past week. We've gone from Olive Garden, to Bennigan's, to Chili's and as of this morning, she wanted to go to Hooters for her birthday dinner (she loves their wings).

The smart alek in me so WANTS to reply to this, but no matter how I spell it out is either comes out sexist, religious or just plain wrong. So I'm just gonna sit here, stay quiet and have another KK.

I know you don't really want to jinx us, but I'm going to guess Titanic

See, here's the thing, Hooters here in central FL is just a regular restaurant. You see families with little kids, groups of ladies, older couples, all kinds of people. I guess because it started just a few miles away from us, it's been around SO long that it's just another restaurant. Heck, at the one by our house, we've been going there SO long that the hostess always comes over to talk to the girls are remembers when Madison was just a baby.

Heck, my first date with Chris was in college and it was a double-date and they took us to Hooters. I had never heard of it, since I was coming from Chicago (way before Hooters had expanded everywhere). Anyway, I know that a LOT of people don't like it or the concept, but it's not a big deal here.

Yep, that's me!! But, that's ok, because I'm no good at this trivia stuff.

Thanks for the prayers and the pixie dust for my sis.

I was just looking at the calendar and realized that one week ago we were being kicked off the Wonder after 11 wonderful nights in Paradise!

Just a couple of things:

1. They were already working on the ship before it even went into dry dock. They had been up on deck 9 tearing up stuff to get ready for the new jumbotron above the goofy pool! Can't wait to watch a movie on it.

2. FYI-Jack Sparrow made 2 visits out on Castaway Cay for pictures! There is a perfect picture spot that Disney has made with the Flying Dutchman in the background! I know some people got dressed in their pirate costumes to get their pictures with him. Actually, the picture will have Jack Sparrow with the Flying Dutchman and the Wonder all in the background!

Linda and Janet I hope everything works out before our cruise.

Sounds like Emily is going to have a great day. The Hooters around here closed about one year ago and I still miss their great food. I'm sure Tom misses the food too. :rotfl:

Still no docs here yet. I'm sure they are coming. It's great that everyone is starting to get them.

You are too funny, Curt!!! Emily actually wanted cupcakes for her birthday, but I decided that I would give the teacher a break and not have 13 hyped-up 4 and 5 yr olds. So, they got donuts (not that they are much better).

Yeah, Yeah, the food, that's what he misses! ;)

We have 3 Hooters by us within a 15-20 minute drive. It's Steve's fault, he got me hooked on the wings at Hooters.

Add Tom to the mix and I think the three of them could get kicked off the ship or sent to jail.

(just thought this was cute)

Geez, yesterday seemed to be a wrotten day!

I got a phone call at work that my mom had tried to get out of her wheelchair and fell down. They sent her to the hospital "just in case" Well that "just in case" was in fact! She broke her right hip!

Running joke in the ER..........they did such a great job on her left hip in June that she wanted her right one done!

Pixie Dust and Prayers to all who need them!

This time I had the Dr. promise that he would release her from the hospital before and during my trip!

HUGS

OMG, I'm so sorry to hear that. pixiedust: for you mother's quick recovery!

And I look at it this way, that's two cruises of time for them to wrap up anything either not finished or having issues coming out of drydock. Sometimes it's better not to be first.
I have to agree with you, tie up any loose ends before we board! :)
