I thought I would share this story of an artist who is going around the country painting flags on rooftops. he is going to do one in all fifty states. He actually painted one in our small town for his Illinois flag # 26 it is about 5 miles from my house and I am gonna take a pic of it when I get a chance!

Whew! Taking a break from cleaning our basement. We had alot of stuff that we carted over from my mom's house after she died down there. Found a few neat Disney related items....a Lady and the Tramp drinking glass and my old Mouse Ears from our trip to Disneyland when i was 8 years old. They don't even say "Disneyland" on them, but instead "Mickey Mouse Club." They will soon find a new home in my curio cabinet!

Thanks for all the anniversary wishes. Tom and I agreed that we were using the cruise for our present to each other. I got him a card and just now he gave me my present. Mickey diamond earrings. I can't believe it. They are just beautiful. Now I didn't buy him anything.

Roxann love your magnets and picture. That picture would look really good in my house.

Hurray for BLING!!!! I'd love to see those earrings. I've got a nice Mickey bling watch with "lovely" crystals that we picked up at WDW last year. It cost a whole 7500..... pennies. Being that someone very near and dear to me is in the jewelry business I like wearing that watch around his coworkers. I love seeing their reactions.

And---I'm a momma again!! Well kinda. My pond in the back has been home to 2 frogs all summer long. We went out back today and there are 7 frogs AND about a zillion little tadpoles swimming around in there. I was even able to take pictures of some sort of frog mating ritual earlier. I won't post the pictures here, I'm not sure if XXX frog pics are allowed on the DIS.

Well we had a busy morning here.

A new Petsmart opened up today so Nick and I stopped over. We each got a free t-shirt and they had some free cat toys and chewies for dogs, so we got some of each. The best part was a $5 coupon when you spent $10. Well that was easy enough to do. I think my cats are set with food now till the end of the month!
After that it was off to the book store. Again we hit pay dirt. Nick has been really wanting this one book but no one had it. Well Borders finally had it in hardcover. The book was $15.99 and I had a 30% off coupon and Nick filled up his kid club card so we got another $5 off. I ended up paying like $6 for the book.
Our last store was Officemax for some more school supplies and low and behold they had the magnetic sheets back in stock!!! Yea!!!
Now I can work on my magnets!!

Don't you just love finding the deals. It makes shopping so much more enjoyable.
