Yup, they are doing this at the WDW resorts too. Getting rid of the Mickey soaps and shampoos. :( :( :( I'll miss my Mickey soaps, especially when the housekeepers stack the bath soap and the face soap just right so you get the full Mickey. :(

WHAT - no no no, say it isn't soooooooooooooooo I get the H2O line on the ship, but I have to have my SOAP... heck I'm not even allergic and that's amazing (I'm allergic to just about everything)

Thanks for the update Mary!

Gee, Disney is doing the resorts too??? I wonder if GF will still have the Alice in Wonderland products??? :confused3

Wow, I found it on Amazon.com for just under $16. It also showed up on the Walmart.com website, so I'm going to check out Walmart tomorrow to see if they have it, because they were selling it online for just under $15 with $.97 shipping.

Guess I should have read a little more before my last post.

I almost purchased the book from amazon last night, but I read something on wikopedia that made me decide to do a little more research first. It said
Surrell is updating Pirates of the Caribbean: From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies to include information from the second film in the series, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. This new edition is planned for release before the 2006 holiday season.
So, I wonder when exactly "before the 2006 holiday season" is?

Yes, when we talked to Ducky in May he was pretty sure he was going to be on the DVC cruise. That might have changed but I sure hope not!

Oh I hope it hasn't changed! I loved listening to him and watching him draw. I barely can walk and chew gum at the same time and here he was telling his story and drawing too!

I havent posted in ages.
My life has taken a dramatic turn and Ive been very busy.
The week Chick Fil A was getting ready to close for remodeling, my DH got a job offer through his company for Tampa.
We had planned on going down for a long weekend because we got an awesome DING fare from Southwest.
We ended up extending that stay to look for houses.
We tried the Lakeland/Winter Haven area as we thought it would be 1/2 between Orlando and Tampa.
We ended up finding our deam home in Haines City,
im about 24 miles from the enterance of OKW and SSR,(going I-4)
If I go the back way Im about 17 miles from MGM
We're getting this house ready to sell and that means painting everythig back to nuetral.(BORING)
We didnt expect to moce so quickly. so theres a million things to get done.
Hope everyone is well and good luck getting to the magic post #

How exciting! Good luck with the painting and moving, but look what you have to look forward too!

It is freezing here today. It is only 54 here right now and very windy. At least the sun is out. I sure hope it warms up.

It started getting pretty cold last night. Deanna had a soccer scrimmage and when I took her it was nice so I was wearing shorts and tee shirt. As the sun started going down it was getting quite cold!

It looks beautiful out now, but it sure feels like fall is in the air!

Maybe it will be in time or our cruise??? He mentioned that when he gave a seminar in NY at the POC event. That would be great to get the new release while on the ship! :goodvibes

Good morning everyone! Amazing what a little news from DVC will do to the thread! Great to see everyone getting excited about the trip!

I wasn't on last night and had about 8 pages to catch up on. The e-mail for DVC opened up a whole lot of new topics of course it's fun when we add our own rumors to it!

More good news about the cruise. This comes from the Cruise Critic site (bold added by me):

Disney Upgrades Bedding, In-Cabin AmenitiesEven cruisers have to sleep sometime, and Disney Cruise Line is answering the wake-up call for better beds by upgrading every stateroom in its fleet with new mattresses and luxurious linens. Disney will also introduce new in-cabin bath and shower products developed by H20 Plus, a line of water-based products derived from marine botanicals.

The enhancements are currently being rolled out on both Disney Wonder and Disney Magic, with all products and upgrades expected to be in place by October.

Disney joins a throng of major cruise lines that have already committed to upgrading bedding onboard, most recently Royal Caribbean. Many even sell their mattresses -- and brand-new duvets and sheets -- including Carnival, Holland America and Oceania.

All cabins onboard Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will be outfitted with:

Sealy Posturepedic Premium Plus Euro-top mattresses

New pillows

Frette 300-thread-count linens of 100 percent Egyptian cotton

Larger, plusher towels and bath sheets in bathrooms

H20 Plus Spa Sea Marine Revitalizing Shampoo

H20 Plus Spa Marine Collagen Conditioner

H20 Plus Spa Hydrating Body Butter

Concierge level suites will also offer a "Pillow Talk" menu with a selection of hypo-allergenic, feather and therapeutic memory foam options, and additional H20 Plus offerings such as Sea Salt Body Wash and Solar Relief Gel.

Not a concierge passenger? Not to worry -- an expanded line of H20 products, including the body wash and gel as well as fruity body balms and a minty foot rub, will be available for purchase in Treasure Ketch, the ships' gift shop, from $8.50.

Do you think this is going to be done while in drydock? It will be funny to be on the ship and then 3 weeks later it will have all it's changes.

Do you have any pictures of this? I don't think I've ever seen that done. Sounds pretty neat!

Gail - that is my guess. You and Karen (KarenNY who is on the 10 day) will have to let us know how many differences you see.

Ann Marie you will have to let me know how the homeschooling goes. I would be interested to hear your thoughts after you have been homeschooling for awhile.

By the way Kiele sent Brooke an email.

Amy Thanks for the Walmart heads up. I ordered the pirate book online and paid a total of $14.99 (including shipping). We live in Oregon so we have no sales tax. The book was $14.02 plus $0.97 for shipping. I will return the other book today! THANKS!!!!:goodvibes

Mary new beds and toiletries! Another perk to our October cruise!:cool1:

Amy have you and Chris checked out Ford. The dealerships around here are having 0% financing for 72 months on 2006 Ford cars, trucks, SUV's. I have contacted our Costco affiliated with Ford to see what kind of a deal we could get for DH on a new Ranger. His Ranger is 12 years old. The sale goes through the 5th.

Have a great day everyone! I will check back in later. I am off to school to put some first day informational packets together. I have 8 other Mom's helping with the mailings and all the kids play outside. Kind of fun! I have to get my volunteer corner up and running too (ie. computer, candy basket, volunteer buttons, etc.) School starts on Tuesday!:guilty:

Taking the picture now and will upload it to photobucket.

Look for an upcoming post with the picture (thought I'd turn this into TWO posts to help you guys out instead of just posting the picture) :lmao:
