It's the SAME Rock River! I lived in Rock Falls, Illinois, about 60 miles south of Rockford, IL. The Rock runs between Sterlihg and Rock Falls. I've been through Janesville many times!

Just goes to show "It's a Small, Small World"!!

It truly is! :cool1:

We spent many summers up in Edgerton, which is just a couple miles outside of Janesville. We owned some property up there and it was our weekend get away zone. My dad had plans of retiring up in that area, sadly, he died 3 weeks after he sold out on his share of a family business so he never was able to fulfill that dream. A lot of his family is from the Southern Wisconson, Northern Illinois areas so who knows, maybe you have run into some of them at one time or another.

Anyone who didn't receive the actual email, send me a PM and I'll forward it onto you.

Off to figure out how to get the 15 years of DVC logo in my signature. Hope I don't mess it up. :scared: ETA: It's very easy to change! Thanks, Mary.

If DVC is reading I think that new logo would make an awesome pin!

I'll bet that they do make this into a pin. The logo that DVC used for the 10 year anniversary was made into one.

I've had the same siggie since I started on these boards, but I broke down and changed because this was just too cool!

I know what you mean Mary - I had a hard time taking the PDFG logo out of my signature (but I did add a line about it). The new logo is very sharp and cool.

Curt We watched your birthday present from the Tigers. That was quite a game. Is Karen still alive. I think I bit all my nail watching the last part of the game. You two are bad influences on us as we have started watching some of the games.

Cheryl sorry to hear about you dog eating your lab work. I know your doctor can get the results if they don't have them already.

It is freezing here today. It is only 54 here right now and very windy. At least the sun is out. I sure hope it warms up.

I have decided home school the girls. I ordered all the material and it should be here soon. Karen thank for all the info on K12. It really helped. :cool1:

Ok I know this is going to sound very silly, but every time I see the new logo I smile. It just pumps up my excitement about the cruise. I know we are going to be seeing a lot of this logo on the cruise and I can't wait.

We'll see what we can do about getting a good clear image up on the site this weekend. Same with the bumper sticker that Erin sent.

I did load the logo up on the DIS photo site so if you want it for your signature you can grab it from there. Since it really isn't cruise only related I didn't want to put it up on our site and get tons of hits since I think a lot of DVCers are going to want it.

Mary, I'm going to miss your Belle :(

Maybe she'll come back after the cruise

It was 48 here when I woke up. Of course I had every window in the house open, so it felt like a meat locker in here! :cold:

Congrats and good luck on your decision to home school the girls. I'm curious to learn what you and they think of it. I'd love to do it, as the public school in this area just scares me but I'm not entirely sure I have it in me.

Sadly no cruise news email came to my mailbox, since I KNOW I put the info in since the last cruise news I'm not sure why I didn't get it but thanks for posting it here. I'm psyched!

Pirate book available through overstock.com for 15.57 inc shipping!

Ilene - my cruise mail went to the wrong email address as I had asked them to send it to my yahoo... instead it went where my regular DVC emails go (to my hotmail)... weird!

Disney Upgrades Bedding, In-Cabin AmenitiesEven cruisers have to sleep sometime, and Disney Cruise Line is answering the wake-up call for better beds by upgrading every stateroom in its fleet with new mattresses and luxurious linens. Disney will also introduce new in-cabin bath and shower products developed by H20 Plus, a line of water-based products derived from marine botanicals.

The enhancements are currently being rolled out on both Disney Wonder and Disney Magic, with all products and upgrades expected to be in place by October.

Disney joins a throng of major cruise lines that have already committed to upgrading bedding onboard, most recently Royal Caribbean. Many even sell their mattresses -- and brand-new duvets and sheets -- including Carnival, Holland America and Oceania.

All cabins onboard Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will be outfitted with:

Sealy Posturepedic Premium Plus Euro-top mattresses

New pillows

Frette 300-thread-count linens of 100 percent Egyptian cotton

Larger, plusher towels and bath sheets in bathrooms

H20 Plus Spa Sea Marine Revitalizing Shampoo

H20 Plus Spa Marine Collagen Conditioner

H20 Plus Spa Hydrating Body Butter

Concierge level suites will also offer a "Pillow Talk" menu with a selection of hypo-allergenic, feather and therapeutic memory foam options, and additional H20 Plus offerings such as Sea Salt Body Wash and Solar Relief Gel.

Not a concierge passenger? Not to worry -- an expanded line of H20 products, including the body wash and gel as well as fruity body balms and a minty foot rub, will be available for purchase in Treasure Ketch, the ships' gift shop, from $8.50.

I miss her too. I did at least keep the avitar, and I saved the location of the "dancing Belle" because I was afraid I'd never find it again if I didn't!

Will our rooms have the new beds?? Just wondering since the boat is going into dry dock.

You're absolutely welcome!!! And PLEASE....do not hesitate to PM me or email me if you have any questions. It'll be an adjustment at first. Don't try to do EVERY subject that first day. Ease into it! :)

Speaking of....gotta yell to the kids to come back to school. Their 15 minute break is over. It's been a good day so far. KT got a 92% on her pre-algebra unit assessment and Nick got a 96% on his vocabulary assessment. :)

Yup, they are doing this at the WDW resorts too. Getting rid of the Mickey soaps and shampoos. :( :( :( I'll miss my Mickey soaps, especially when the housekeepers stack the bath soap and the face soap just right so you get the full Mickey. :(

I have Amazon Prime, so if anyone REALLY wanted to save on shipping, they could mail ME a check and I'd order it for them and have it shipped to their house. It's free two day shipping. :)

Ok ok how much does the book weigh???? Matt works at Gamestop's corp headquarters in the warehouse and they own Barnes and Noble - wondering if his discount would be less ;)
