So while Amy was flooding the thread with posts :rotfl: I was taking pictures!

Here the chain--nothing fancy, just Mickey colors. I have it hanging from the ceiling in the family room, just high enough that the girls can reach it thinking if they rip more links off we can go sooner! The picture is taken from the steps to the kitchen before you think I'm 8 feet tall. :rotfl2:

And this is what I've been working on crafts wise. I'm in a quart sized paint can swap over on the Creative Boards and I had to make 4 of each cans to swap. I can't wait to get the others back because those ladies do some incredible work!

Group A The Fab Five--Minnie Mouse. That's an altered mini composition notebook for the filler.

Group B Princesses--Cinderella. That's a mini accordian album for the filler.

Diana....I love these things! If I had just 1/8 of your crafting ability, my house would be so much more fun! If only our cruise were longer, we could try again for a scraping/crafting class, but we all know how time ran short on the last cruise!

Amy....love the new photo! There's just something about a black and white picture that looks so classy!

DH, DD and I went to Ford last night to test drive a couple of vehicals. The explorer was okay! The convertible mustang V6 was my favorite! :drive: DH LOVED the Mustang GT V8.:car:

The Mustangs are completely impractical for a "family" type car but they were really fun! The explorer was kind of boring but practical. Not sure what we will do (probably wait). DH likes the Sport track but it is a 2007 and doesn't qualify for the GREAT financing they have going on right now.

We did that a few times on the SSMC05 thread. A few of us were online posting replys to each other for quite a while.

Hi all!

Wow you have all been chatty...

Happy belated Birthdat Curt, Diana, I really don't work out all that gard, but I am really sore today.

OK,I don't have timr to read the last 20 pages... But I did see this trueism...
While I was watching the NFL playoff games one weekend, my wife and I
got into a conversation about life and death, and the need for living
wills.

During the course of the conversation I told her that I never
wanted to exist in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and
living on fluids.

She got up, unplugged the TV and threw out all my beer.
Man, sometimes it's tough being married to a smartass.
:figment:

Gail: I will have to raid into Todd's stash and see if I can find minnie lotion for you.

Thanks for the instructions, just trying out my new signature line. I leave in the morning for work but then at 12:30 to go on a camping trip with 19 other families. We are going to the Berkshires, we go every Labor Day weekend. It's bittersweet because dd usually goes with me but I'm taking two female friends and alot of knitting this year. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend. I'm hoping we stay mostly dry :lmao:but that isn't likely with the hurricane headed our way. Oh well I have a pop up that we can sit and knit in so I'm all set except for packing it up and setting it up so I hope those times are dry ones!

Ilene...have a safe trip! And remember to have fun this weekend!

This morning I broke my baby toe on my left foot by stubbing it on the footboard of my bed. My own fault, I should have put on my slip on shoes. This hasn't been my year. I broke 2 ribs in May.

Hope that the year gets better for you! Good Luck with your toe!

I kind of wish I had TAKEN the scrapbooking class last year, especially once I got started with the Circle Journals!

Mary, I really don't think you need any classes, I've seen all your work and it's awesome for a first timer!

And as far as my creativeness goes. I'm afraid I'm not the least bit creative, I'm real good at copying stuff other people have done. :rotfl: They call that scraplifting! :lmao:

Note to self - lock up DCL lotion when Cindy comes to visit or she'll be sending it to Gail. :lmao:

Oh man, isn't there any posts that get by Mary? :rotfl: Good try Cindy!

Those are incredibly adorable...I'm not creative at all, those would look really bad if I attempted.

I love the paint cans and filler albums - very cute.

I use to do chains for Deanna. The last one she wanted started we had 130 days before our cruise. I was so sick of the putting them together. That thing was strung through the foyer for awhile. It didn't seem like it was ever going to go away :teeth:

Evidently you missed how you were going to get the goods!

Mary, I wouldn't just send it to her.

I'd list it on ebay and then tell her that she could purchase it that way. :rotfl2:

That is, unless a konk kooler appeared at my door. Then I just might ship it right off to her.
