Ah the lovely Miss Sara Toga, the Local Hightened Listener and Expedient Communicator!

We remember Miss Sara Toga. My husband and I snuck away to the Member Homecoming without our kids! It was a great 3 days. We loved dancing on Main Street at midnight and having EPCOT to ourselves.

I've been reading all of your posts - it's hard to keep up with all of you but I'm trying.


We read about Palo and the spa not being available and haven't even tried to book ressies today. We will be driving to the port - How early can we get there?

You guys are a wealth of information! Thanks

7. How many of the United States have you visted? All states east of the Mississippi (while marching in drum and bugle corps) and California and Washington. I had a layover in Houston, Tx does that count?

9. Grease or Sound of Music? Hmmm- I've great memories from childhood and the Sound of Music - raindrops on roses and wiskers on kittens....

Hi Chris - it does move fast around here sometimes, but we're just having fun, passing the time, getting to know each other before SSMC06. There are some days that I just have to turn off the computer and get stuff accomplished, otherwise, I could spend the ENTIRE day responding to stuff.

Anyway, to answer your question, the last time that we cruised (this past Feb), the port opened up at 10am. For SSMC05, there were several of us in the parking lot across the street having a little pre-terminal DIS meet waiting for them to open the gates to let us crazies in.

Bonus question: never saw either, I'd rather have a root canal, LOL!

Well I've booked at PoP for the night before the cruise even though we'll get in at midnight because w AP discount (not available yet) it will be the same or less than staying at a hotel near the airport and then we'd have to take a shuttle back to the airport to catch the Disney bus. I also booked transport but now with all of you caravaning makes me want to rent a car too. Just didn't make sense $$$. Cost to rent plus cost to park would be more than two transports on the Disney bus. If someone knows this isn't so please do tell. So anyway now I want a window sticker too!!! Great job on those, Erin.

Croc alert: I bought the islanders this weekend..OMG they are the BEST. I also bought the niles and don't like them much at all. They seem to run a bit small and I had to take the strap off the back to make them slip on's. They seem not quite as cushy but they'll be OK for the pool. But the Islanders......ahhhh.

I'm still not sure how we are getting to the port. I haven't made any plans yet. I don't know if we'll take Disney transportation because I'd rather get to the port a bit earlier.

We are also having brunch at Palos. At first I was concerned about missing something but then decided since we didn't go to Palo last cruise we should do it this time.
