What is LTT?

So far the plans are fly in Oct 20 land around 10am--do not know where to stay yet--any suggestions?

22--leave for cruise
26--get dragged from ship, Check in at BWV, MNSSHP
27-28 Parks etc
29--fly home to Toronto

Official word from the cruise website about the Flying Dutchman

The Flying Dutchman will remain at Castaway Cay until once again appearing in the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie in 2007.

so it sounds like we'll be seeing it while we are in town

I did receive the booklet awhile back and it really was all about Nassau with a little about Castaway Cay. However it is out of date as it does not speak about the stingray adventure at Castaway so I pretty much glanced at it and that was it--I can not be bothered to read something that I know is either--not useful, out of date or irrelevant and this entire booklet was pretty much all of them!

Too bad we have not heard anything more. I leave on July 22 for a week long camping trip in Northern Ontario (think big mosquitos, bears etc) so I do not know if I will be able to get anywhere near a computer. Perhaps on a provisions run into to town, they may have an internet cafe-- but I can not count on it. I was hoping to know something so I could get a friend to book things for me but I guess that won't be happening.

If you plug in your ressie and then go to "My Cruise Plans" you can pull up the excursions that will be offered at CC.

There are a few that list "Two Day Rentals"

So I'm guessing that they will be offering these?

If you want DVC: book now to get on a waitlist, all the DVC resorts are waitlisted for that week.

If you have an AP - You might want to wait for the AP rates, or check with the Swan/Dolphin to see what their AP rates are.

I still haven't booked the 26-28th yet, but I am not worrying since I have Starwood points I can use for Swan/Dolphin to get me a few free nights.

Yeah, DH booked the 7-day on our last members cruise. Then this one came up so we booked it with the idea of dropping the 7-day. He couldn't bring himself to give it up so one airfare 2 weeks!

Stacy, seriously, I'm having a Moms Night Out pool party here on Tuesday night so if you want to ditch Jeff and Nick, you are more than welcome to come and hang, there's a lot of scheduling conflicts so not too many people are coming. I'm even making tequila pie!

The van!!! At $3.20 a gallon for gas, I'd have to give up the cruise in order to be able to drive my van from here to New York!
