HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DIANA AND BRUCE     :flower1:

I anyone else having trouble with posting. I have tried to post at least 3 times today and the server is busy. It seems like the boards are sooooooo slow lately. :surfweb:

Hi Ilene, My DH and I are also from Brockton, Ma. Maybe we can meet before the cruise to get to know each other. Unfortunately we are booked for the late sitting for dinner. Send me a PM if you are interested.

Thanks to everyone for the anniversary wishes! I got a great present this morning, but it wasn't from Bruce the Shark.....it was from Stacy! :lmao: She emailed, pm'd and called me to tell me that Southwest had $59 flights to Orlando! :cheer2: So I was able to book my August scrapbooking trip for $128 rt and airfare down to FL for the four of us in October for $250!! :cheer2: Of course, SW doesn't have Oct 30th rates released so we can get to FL, but we can't come home. You won't hear me complaining about that!! :lmao:

Thanks again Stacy!!

That's what friends are for! :goodvibes

Ilene - glad to hear you were able to save some money too. We originaly booked at $157pp but I switched it this morning now I have credits that are just waiting to be used once they open up to the 29th of October!

:cheer2: Happy Anniversary Diana & Bruce! :cheer2:

I grew up in Brockton, still have family in the area. Ilene, I think we met at a Disney meet for a budget mailing list years ago.

What a day!!!!! :crazy2:

Can't go into details (too long) but I have been home for an hour today and that was to mke dinner.

Anyway, Glad some people saved on SW airfare! :woohoo:

docbrown sorry you won't be joining us. We decided taking DD out of school for the week would be worth it. She will hate making up the work, but we don't take her out (usually) and has only missed 1 day because of illness. Let us know what happens when you call MS.

 HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DIANA AND BRUCE

Good morning everyone! Trying to get back in the swing of things now that we are home. Went in to find 200 plus e-mails at work! Then the president of the company asked me to do up some reports/charts for one of our major accounts that he's visiting today! So my time was spent on that and not much catching up. I'll do that today.

At home I've started unpacking and doing laundry. Should be caught up soon.

  Happy Belated Anniversary Diana and Bruce!!

:surfweb: Good morning everyone.

It must be summer because the nights get shorter and shorter. It seems like I'm dragging these days -- it must be the warmer weather and being more on the go. I'm sure it has nothing to do with pushing #120+ pounds in the stroller. :rolleyes1 Monday I had all 3 little ones in there as their little legs get tuckered out.

We have been busy. We went to Brookfield Zoo on Sunday and then back on Monday with the daycare. I think we're heading back there again tomorrow. It's such a large zoo and the kids move slow, so we don't usually get to see much. The zoo is adding more and more family/children type things to it, which makes it even harder and harder to get through.

Today we're off to the splash fountain. The kids love it there.

Next week our local pool opens and my plan is to be there a couple days a week at 11 when they open. Play in the water, head home for a later lunch and then put the kids down for the rest of the afternoon. :dance3:

Walker finished soccer last night until camp begins in August. :cheer2: That frees up a couple nights a week. Cameron still has baseball for another month. There's a game tonight, I'm anxious to see what the coach has to say after Saturday's occurrence with the umpire walking off the field.

Have a great Wednesday! :dogdance:

 Last night, the weather forecast for today was Partly Cloudy 75. So my friends and I decided it would be a good day to go up to the Six Flags and do the water park before the rest of the kids get out of school. Last night, we took the girls for ice cream and to the water ski team practice (behind the ice cream place) and I told Emma we were going. I even called the Y and cancelled my babysitting slots for today. Now, I get up this morning and they've changed the forecast to 65 and RAIN!!! How am I going to make her understand we aren't going now?? I'm ready to go to the TV station and hunt down the weather guy and beat him up! And now I have to find something fun to do today....ALL DAY, because we can't even go to the Y now.

The worse part of parenthood -- changing a plan on a child that they have their hopes up to do. :sad1:

I've found that I no longer tell any of the kids what we are doing ahead of time. It's so much easier for them to be pleasantly surprised than highly disappointed.

Your right, they just don't understand. :sad1:

Maybe you can think of something even better than the water park to do today. Is there any way you might be able to still get your babysitting slot at the Y? pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Good morning everyone!!

I totally know what you mean, Cindy!! The nights are getting shorter, and summer is in full swing. Emily has been in VBS this week at school from 9am-1pm. Then, they both have swimming lessons from 6:40-7:20pm. So, we're not eating dinner until they get home, so they aren't eating right before lessons. Then, Emily had a friend over yesterday afternoon. And, my neice will be here next Wednesday for 2 weeks. I know that it will be a fun summer, but boy, oh boy, it's gonna go fast. Which, I guess is good, since that gets us closer to the cruise.

Curt - you're gonna love this. I'm making a few tiny strides with PT with Maddie. She went all on her own before her bath the other night. Maybe there is hope for October and the clubs. But, we'll see.

Well, off to get ready to bring Emily to VBS and run some errands. It's been HOT, HOT, HOT here lately, with no rain in sight (which we really need). There was even a brush fire, just behind our neighborhood last night after swim lessons. Luckily, they caught it early and put it out. Whew!!

That's the dumb thing. I never tell them what we are doing the next day, for that reason. Even last week, I didn't tell them we were going to Six Flags until we got to the parking lot. I was able to call the Y and "uncancel" my cancellation, I looked like a fool but the lady understood. :goodvibes My plan is after my class, instead of taking the girls home, we'll just go swimming in the pool at the Y. God knows my pool is WAY too cold for swimming again. :sad2: The day has been saved. :wizard:

Amy--I'll send some of this rain your way. It rained 3 days last week and now it's supposed to rain here until Saturday. :furious: I'm SO moving to Florida.

My day is starting to look up! :sunny: DVC just called and my waitlist came through, so not only do I have airfare going to FL, I actually have a place to sleep!! :cool1: I know Cindy is now very thankful that we won't be crashing on her couch. :lmao: We're at SSR for 10/20-10/22 but are still waitlisted for BW and BC. I don't really care at this point, we have airfare, we have a bed....I'm SO ready to go!!

Diana, Yay! for the waitlist coming through. Boo for the rain. Glad you are able to have a fun time with the gals though in spite of the weather.

Amy, Yay! for Maddie's progress. Still sending PD your way to hope she makes it by October. pixiedust:

Mary, good luck with that laundry thing. That is the not-so-fun part of vacation returns.

Umm, make that under the couch as we need to pull it out for the kids to sleep on. Wouldn't that be a sight, Diana, Bruce & the kids under our couch. But, hey, it would have been fun! :lmao: :lmao:

Congratulations!! party:

Diana that's great news on your waitlist! I am sure Cindy and co would have loved to host all of you :cheer2:

I am having a ton of problems getting on the board and posting - I guess the servers are maxed out again? Sad - I miss my DIS time!

Well, I know some of you saved on airfare to Orlando yesterday. SW has a ding special good until 5pm CST for $54 each way from Chicago and back Aug 1-31.
Thought I'd let you all know, in case anyone can use it. I am going for labor day weekend and used it for the way down, now we just have to find a deal for the way back. Here's the link in case someone needs it.

it should work if you copy and paste.

Hi all, Mind if I drive by...

I am so sorry to be MIA; you all are having the best time and I feel... Well, Out of the loop.

Actually, Robin has been telling me the important things like...We need an ADR for 7:30AM at Cape May on 10/22 (Done) and that I should be on the boards more. She is also telling me that IAN may be disappointed that his Internet Harem might get upgraded from Flounders. I hope he won't be too lonely there...

I will try to be around more,
:figment:

Oohhh, maybe we will be able to come to Chicago this summer!! I'll have to look into it. I'd drive to Orlando to get a flight that cheap, but it would be better if I can get it from Tampa.

Mary, Thanks for the PM reply... I thought the #'s were a lot higher!!!

Pssssst...Amy... hint hint... we have an ADR for Cape May at 7:30AM on 10/22...
