Mary, have a great vacation!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

It pouring here again! I did manage to plant my flowers last week so they should be really happy with all this rain. I haven't gotten the veggie in. When we first moved here 6 years ago, I planted a nice veggie garden. With 2 full rows of lettuce--like 20 plants. I got up the next morning and had 20 holes in the ground. :furious: Turns out there's a family of bunnies living under our shed.....they've been here ever since and I haven't planted a garden since. But this year, I found another place to put a garden and we're going to build a raised bed to accomodate it. I'm thinking the girls would love it, as they both love veggies. That don't get that from me. So the rain is preventing my garden process.

I'm still ironing out all the details for my trip for the View. Cindy, the View isn't like Oprah or Dr. Phil. It's more of a current events/entertainment type show. Like Regis and Kelly. It has 5 women who do the interviews with celebrities and they sit at a table and basically chat with each other about what's going on in the world. Barbara Walters is the head moderator and this is the show Katie Couric's replacement Meredith Viera is on. It's really a good show, I don't ever get to watch it anymore. The greatest part of going into the city is I get to go to the World of Disney store!!! :cheer2: I'm also planning on hitting the American Girl Doll store and Toys R Us in Times Square, that place is amazing.

Thanks for the explanation of "The View". I'm not much of a daytime TV watcher -- not at all in fact.

As for the garden, that's they we use chicken wire. I've planted many times to find out I only provided our wildlife with a fresh, easy meal. We have to leave it up all summer because once the plants are no longer appealing to the rabbits, our dog will eat everything he can get. Yep, tomatoes (only the nice red ripe ones  ), cucumber & carrots. I don't know if he'd eat a pepper -- but I'm not willing to let him try.

Cameron's getting ready to go camping this weekend with Boy Scouts. I'm so glad he crossed over and is enjoying the program. Even Walker's thinking that he's a Boy Scout and wants to skip the Cub Scout program and he right off to Boy Scouts. I wonder, will anyone notice the 3' new scout who joined their Troop? :rotfl2: I must have heard him say over the last couple of days 20 times he wishes he was a Weblo2 so he could go onto Boy Scouts. Soon, my son, soon! Let's not rush these years any more than they are already going by! :sad1:

Sounds like we have similar weekends coming up. We have Spring Camporee this weekend. It could be a muddy one. They are predicting rain thru Saturday unfortunately :(

:wizard: Pixie dust for the rain to stop for you!! :wizard:

I was hoping to go to the Drive In on Friday to see Over the Hedge.

Will you be back by Sunday in time for the Memory Lane garage sale?

:surfweb: Good Morning eveyone!! Been lurking latley and letting Karen do all the talking.

There is but one thing really on my mind....

1 day / 4 hours / 8 minutes & 17 odd seconds
and we'll be back "home" at OKW. Not wanting to gloat, just excited!!!!

Needless to say I'm not really getting alot done at work today. I did arrest someone but the paperwork is taking a bit longer than usual.

The drive in sounds like fun. Ok I say we ditch the hubbies and take the kids the drive in. We'll take your car (since it's much bigger then mine) and I'll by the popcorn :thumbsup2 :lmao:

I don't know yet what time we will be back on Sunday. I will know more tomorrow night after Scouts. I hope I can make it to the Garage sale. Hey don't forget tomorrow is double punch day! :woohoo:
Hey I just got an email about the garage sale, they have 12 people signed up to sell so far!

We leave on Sunday for BCV and I can't wait!! I really need this trip! It's still raining in MA. Luckily, no water in our basement but our neighbors had over three feet! The fire department had to come and shut off their electricity and heating system. We have been very lucky!

Yikes!

As much as I hate the rain and dreary weather, at least we don't have these kinds of issues. Here's hoping everything stays dry! pixiedust:
