Mary,

Thanks for the invite! I would love to come...is it ok if I bring my 2 DD's? If so then count the 3 of is in. :cool1:

Not Mary, but Cindy but I think I can answer.

If you don't mind dining with my two boys, then sure!!!

It's Mark, Mark, Curt & Karen who are in for a treat! :scared:

It will be great to meet you!

If you are coming up the Tri-state get off at Dempter East, turn left at the first light go North up to Golf. Turn right onto Golf and it will be on your left a short way down past the next light. It is in the outer part of a strip mall that has Value City in it. If you end up at Milwaukee you've gone too far East.

We plan on being there between 8:30 and 8:45. We are going downtown to pick up Curt and Karen and Cindy and her family are coming from their home in Schaumburg.

Good news - I have 2 of my 3 ciricle journals done. I'm tired so I'm going to quit for the night but I should be able to have the 3rd one done tomorrow. I can then turn over all 3 (and the crib sheets) to Cindy on Sunday. Yeah!

I love DIS meets! So whoever gets to there first we are looking at seating for 11 (7 adults and 4 kids). This is going to be fun!

After the lifeboat drill, we'll grab some of those layered sailaway drinks and have our own balance drills. :drinking1 :upsidedow :lmao:

I'm in! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :upsidedow

Funny thing is that Gary & I don't as a rule drink at home. We have an occassional bottle of beer (must be ice cold for me) but that's about it. We have bottles of wine that we bought before we were married still out in the garage never opened (does anyone want some 20 year old bottles of wine that have sad in the hot/cold/damp temperature all those years). When Gary turned 50, my aunt gave him a bottle of whiskey. It's still around here someplace -- unopened.

But, on the cruise, all bets are off. That is the one thing that Gary & I enjoyed every day -- not to the point of being drunk but definately to the point of relaxing and kicking back a bit.

I know we are going to indulge again in October. :teeth:

Only 11??? You just invited the entire DIS. Told them where we would be and how to get there and everything. :teeth: Gosh, I hope they all don't show up. Pancakes anyone??? :rotfl2:

Our son, Michael, :smooth: is going with us on the members cruise. Does anybody know of any young people (mid-20's) going on the cruise? :confused3 He hasn't cruised with us since we all went to Alaska on Royal Carribean a couple years ago. There's always so many little ones on the ship, but not so many his age. :lmao: Thanks, Connie :cloud9:

Oh, yeah, and I really like the way the list is organized with the staterooms highlighted in lime green!

I'll have to pass tempting as it is.

Also for the Massachusetts folk, how is the weather lately? Todd is leaving on Monday for a work trip in Burlington and coming home Thursday.

Connie,

I'm upper 20's...28 and going just me and my 2 dd's...I am single, but not looking!LOL! But would love to hang out! I am a bit of a late night person! And my girls go to bed kind of early! I would love to hang out!

Anyone ever see Bombay Dreams? David and I just came back from seeing it - part of the Summer Musicals series - and I can honestly say it was not a favorite. In fact if not at the bottom of the list, somewhere close to it. But it was nice to get out just the two of us for an evening. Next show is in 2 weeks and promises to be much better - Les Miserables.

I cant wait to meet all of you!

It's raining again in MA! I told Tom we should start building in ark in the backyard!

Good morning everyone! Looks like we may get a little bit of rain around here today. Really looking forward to Sunday. Always great to get to meet fellow DISers.

Good morning everyone!! We're off to WDW in a little bit for the next couple of days. Then, Chris got free passes to SeaWorld, so we're going to go there on Saturday. My niece is here from VA, so we're taking her on the "tour". One of the first things that she asked me, after she got off the plane, was can we go to Disney World? Of course, we've had the trip planned for months, so it was a definite YES!!

Have fun at the Chicago breakfast meet everyone!!! We'll be back late Saturday night, so I should be in DVC chat on Sunday.

Have a good weekend, Amy & family.

Sometimes when you post about these quick weekend trips, I get so envious. It seems like you go to WDW as often as I go to the playground park. I think you have such a nice opprotunity being so close and it's nice that you make use of the parks and all.

Maybe someday we'll move a bit south!

Have a great time Amy! We need to get back to Sea World sometime. We always have a good time there! Say hi to the puffins for me. :)

Have a great time, Amy. I got to go to Seaworld in August for a breastfeeding conference! I'm a lactation consultant and this was to get a behind the scenes look at how other mammals lactate and nurture their young. It was so interesting, especially about the killer whales. They are so awesome.

Cheryl we have rain again here :-( in MA. I just had my basement waterproofed in December and remodeled the whole basement so that we have a "library" area for seating/reading/entertaining and sleepovers and a studio for my crafts (spinning, weaving, knitting and sewing) but it seems we are still getting soggy spots under our NEW carpeting. I'm so annoyed and worried that we spent some good money on something that didn't work. :sad2:

Amy, have a great time this weekend!!

I'm off to the gym, then to Kmart for their big closing sale. I'm gonna miss my Kmart so much, but rumor has it---Lowes and Target are going to build there. :cheer2: I'm happy to have them so close (under a mile) but I'm terrified at the traffic they are going to bring to this not-so-big town. As it is Walmart brought all this riff-raff when they came 4 years ago, at least Lowes and Target bring in a different clientele.
