Yup. That's the first group. You'll board after the pre-board people. You should be able to go and get your boarding passes for your return flight printed at VWL too.

Really? Where do I go to do that? :listen:

Cindy -you'll appreciate this. Went down to the family room this morning and the carpet at the bottom of the stairs was damp. Mark took a look and sure enough the water line on the air conditioning system was blocked and water was coming out the bottom of the furnace. All fixed now!

Good thing you found it now and not Sunday night. ::yes::

Ours turned out to be the drain somehow was bent on an angle and the water couldn't get where it needed to get so it backed up inside the unit (for how long, who knows). They also replaced the insultation on the pipe outside.

I never did call the insurance company as the carpet dried out nicely. I'd rather avoid having our premiums go up but if it didn't I wouldn't have had a problem making a claim.

I've read here on the DIS that people do it all the time. But of course, I can't get the search function to work! :furious: I think they just ask at the front desk.

I also believe with Southwest you can have Gary check in online for you guys at home and then you go to a kiosk in the terminal and it prints your boarding passes for you. I'm not at all sure how it works....I've read here on the DIS that people have done it.

OK, that's just crazy. I will have Bruce check our AC when he gets home, because after 3 accident in just a few days around here, I don't want to be the third flood.

I bring my laptop with no printer and check in for SW to come home all the time. When we check our bags at the terminal they just print our boarding passes for us. If the skycap/checkin person asks I sorta fib and tell them my printer jammed. I haven't had a problem doing it this way so Gary should be able to check you in from home. I think I've read that guest services(now concierge) will print them for you in the lobby too.

We traveled with Southwest in June. We were in MGM and went to Guest Services just outside the gate. They printed the passes for us. We asked at our hotel (BWV) too. They would have done it for us, but we had to be there. So, we just went on over to MGM for the day. When it was 24 hours prior to our flight, we went to Guest Services and they did it there.

How could we forget the wedding??? Isn't that why we're cruising that week - to celebrate your upcoming wedding ;)

Mark & Mary have a safe trip to Ohio. Say Hi  to Karen for us.

Cindy, Cameron & Walker have a safe trip to Florida. I'm so jealous, I want to go too! Have fun and don't let the Florida sun get the best of you!

Are you going to have Gary keep us posted of your fun?

Anyone here know anything about D.C.? My ds is considering GW Law School, has to make a decision in the next week or two. He is currently full scholarship (and #1 in his class) at Roger Williams Law in RI. He put in to transfer because he's not sure he could get the type of position he wants upon graduation from the RI school. He is waitlisted at Georgetown which he'd really like but ?, he is having a tough decision between RW and GW. I'm at a loss to help him. He also has no accomodation prospects in DC and has to pull it all together really fast as school starts 8.28. So if anyone knows about any condos or apts for rent in vicinity of GW please let me know (pulling at straws I know).

Ilene sorry I can't help with any information, but I wanted to say that's very impressive of your son. You must be very proud!

Update on Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

They are about 20 hours ahead of schedule! John wasn't suppose to go back until 1:00 AM tomorrow morning, but he got a call at 7:30 this morning asking them to come back and test the lines they put in and cover the boxes (intercom/alarm). John's delimma - he had planned to be at a clients office all day today working on their computer system and getting some other computers ready to ship to their office in Chicago, but he also wanted/needed to be at the House. He called the client and tried to beg off for a few hours and found out that this client is a contractor for the builder that's building the house! They completely understood, told him they can reschedule for a later date and for him to spend the time he needs at the house! When he gets home tonight I'll post a picture of the house - it is very nice and BIG!

Stay safe traveling Mark & Mary! Tell ohiominnie we'll miss her on the cruise!

Cindy....have a great time at our other home, VWL! And safe travels go out to you too!

I know we talked about this last year but no one did it. For those of you staying at WDW the night before and you don't have a rental car, have you thought of getting a van for a group of you? If you split the cost it could be as cheap as the bus and you would have more freedom of time. I'd offer someone a ride but the car just fits us and our luggage. We did offer to take Cameron or Walker home with us last year but by way of the roof racks. :)

Speaking of offering someone a ride, I am renting a car, and there is only the 3 of us, 2 more could squeeze in if needed. Just a thought!
