Oh me, oh my, we were almost at the bottom of the 1st page. How long since that has happened?

We are just back from fishing. Walker caught a number of little ones this afternoon. There's a really nice breeze and I passed the time trying to finish the book I was reading in Hilton Head.

Things are a bit drier around here. The leaking seems to have stopped and the fans are helping to dry things out. I think the culprit is the air conditioning unit -- which I'll call on Monday to have it checked out. All in all, things could have been a lot worse.

Glad to hear you seem to have the problem figured out.
I did a bit of vacumming this afternoon then bopped on over to Diana's house to get Cheryl & Amy's CJ's and made it home in time for dinner.
Nick wanted to watch a movies so we just finish watching Lord of the Rings The Return of the King so that took up the rest of the day.

Amy I didn't forget about calling you but it's a little late to do it know so I'll give you a buzz on Sunday. Diana & I discussed some options on the kids gifts.

No problem, Stacy! I'll be around anytime except for church from around 10am to 12:30pm or so. Chris is taking Emily to a Devilrays game tomorrow after church, so Madison and I are just going to hang out at home.

Ilene, sorry to hear about your 2 day loss of power. Here on the east side of the city we only had a slight dimming of the lights at the beginning of the storm. We are generally pretty lucky on our side of town.

Good morning Member Cruisers
- we sail in 11 weeks!

Woo Hoo! We are another week closer to cruising!

:Pinkbounc Woohoo!!!! 11 is my new favorite number! Cindy, did you guess that? ;)

WooHoo! :hourglass 11 WEEKS! Did I ever tell you that 77 is one of my favorite numbers? No! Really! It is! That's Shawn's hockey jersey number so that's the real reason. Unlike some people who will remain nameless whose favorite number changes every Sunday! :rotfl2: Just kidding!

Well, we had a good time at Heritage Days yesterday. There was a whole section set up with rides and games for children and a lot of the booths were selling hand-made jewelry. The bands weren't bad either. The only thing we bought was a new guitar strap for Kevin (our god-child). It has skulls on it and looks rather "piratey" pirate: . We came back to our house and had food on the grill. Our god-child, Kevin spent the night with us. It's fun having a 10 year-old again. I never watch Disney Family or Nick channels unless he is over.

Don't have much planned for today. I should be in chat tonight. Have a good day everyone.

PS - Ilene, sorry to hear about your situation. We had that happen a few years ago. We live on a dirt road and there are only 3 houses on it. Our street looked like a war zone with all of the downed trees and limbs! The transformer on one of the telephone poles blew and the power company couldn't get down the street to fix it until the trees were cut up. It was very scarey!

Thanks!

That's what Gary & the neighbor are thinking. Being someone ( :wave2: ) didn't call to have the unit cleaned this spring, they are thinking that's exactly what's up.

I sure did.

I'm taking bets that next week at this time, your favorite number will change to 10.

Anyone want to get in on this? :dancer:

11 is my favorite number this week too!!!!!

and yes next week it will be 10.

Have a great day everyone. I will be in chat tonight....

Going to Home depot to start my shopping list......

Good morning everyone! We're getting ready to head over to the family reunion in a little bit. Yesterday we hung out at the pool and then did some shopping at the outlet mall. Tax free weekend here in SC! :woohoo: Diane and Deanna didn't have any problems finding new clothes. Of course John was the trooper carrying all the packages - and there were alot of them.

We'll leave in the morning and hopefully we'll have as easy of a drive home as we did coming here. Can you believe we didn't run into any construction the whole way here! I know I probably just jixed myself for the trip home.

So for those of you who are first time cruisers with Disney - your booking day is only 2 days away. What are you going to try for? Are you getting up/staying up to book as soon as it opens?

Contemporary Disney Vacation Club
Resort Timeshare Condominiums
Lake Buena Vista, FL
Status: In design
Completion Date: 2008
All I know is DD heard Bob Iger speak at work, and he told them "There will be more Vacation Club resorts" but he never said where or when. Think will hear something from Jim Lewis on the cruise? Mary, if you and Mark get another dinner invite, be sure to ask!

Thanks, Stacy. I really like the blue cloud pattern. I'm thinking it might be easy to incorporate with my Winnie the Pooh theme pooh: . But, we changed our minds on the shape of the window. Being it wasn't ordered yet as our contractor didn't want to commit without our approval (hmmmm, decisions, decisions, to vent it or not -- I'm glad he didn't, as we decided against the octogan and went with a rectangle, non opening just for light). Anyway, I still will need some type of covering so I might just give this a try.

I have a question about booking Palo. Since the bookings open for new cruisers soon will there be any openings for Palo available to book for everyone or once they are gone they are just gone until we board. I would like to book brunch if it would become available. Thanks
