Wow, imagine that - the number of weeks left to cruise and my age are the same :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Darn it, I wish I had thought of that when it was 29 weeks! ;)

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'll play. I'm so glad we started doing these on SSMC05. It really helps to get to know each other. :thumbsup2 We should dig up some of those questions, there were some good ones asked!

1) What is your usual Sunday routine? Sunday mornings Gary usually heads to the grocery store -- unless we hit Sam's early on Saturday. Cameron sleeps in until I wake him -- usually about 9:30 and he still grumbles. Usually I wake up early, then wake Gary (who grumbles too) so he can head out and get the shopping done early. Walker gets up usually shortly after we do. We usually hang around -- today we'll try to shape up the garage. A lot of times in nicer weather the boys will go fishing or we'll go out bike riding. Sledding in the winter. Late in the day, the kids do any homework they have, we straighten up the house for the morning, usually a bath for Walker and kind of wind down before the rat-race starts again on Monday. Fortunately for us, neither of the boys have organized sports on Sunday. That will change next year when Walker's soccer games will be played on Sunday instead of Saturday.

2) If you have cruised before what will you do different on this cruise? Definately pack a lot lighter!!!! We took way too much on the last cruise. It won't happen again. And, read the navigator -- immediately! We felt like we missed out on some things because we didn't.

3) If someone said they would make your perfect meal what would it include? Pasta, Pasta, Pasta. I could eat it every day -- I don't even need sauce on it. I love salad also so I'd have some of that with the pasta! Maybe Ceasar salad. Yum!

Cindy - you are right. We had great fun when we started the getting to know you questions last year for SSMC05. It gave us all some laughs and I think that is when we really started with the twilight zone stuff. :lmao:

1) What is your usual Sunday routine? My usual Sunday routine is do laundry for the week, go to the park with girls if its nice out, otherwise we do an inside activity. Then go somewhere for dinner.

2) If you have cruised before what will you do different on this cruise?Never cruised before

3) If someone said they would make your perfect meal what would it include? It would be homemade authentic mexican food.

1) What is your usual Sunday routine? I get up around 7:30, read the paper, then talk John into going to McDonalds for breakfast for us. Deanna usually has soccer games on Sunday. After the game if there's time we usually find something that needs to be done around the house.

2) If you have cruised before what will you do different on this cruise? The Member Cruise will be our 8th cruise and since our 7th cruise will be the 11 night cruise in September 06, I think we will need a rest. Two stops at CC will make for a very relaxing cruise for us. On the last Member Cruise we tried out those wonderful chairs on Deck 4, so I'm guessing we will spend some more time there again.

3) If someone said they would make your perfect meal what would it include?
Prime rib, sauted shrimp, baked potato.

1) What is your usual Sunday routine? The best part about my Sunday is that it's the only day I don't have a routine. I usually get up, read the paper (sale ads) while the girls eat breakfast and then talk about we we'll do for the day. Sometimes it's do work around the house, sometimes shopping, sometimes we head over to the Y for a swim.

2) If you have cruised before what will you do different on this cruise? This cruise will be my 4th cruise, my second with the girls. I hope to be a little more adverturous and go on the banana boat and play with the stingrays.....both a little out of my comfort zone. I also plan on relaxing as much as I can, but know realistically I'll be chasing the girls most of the time!

3) If someone said they would make your perfect meal what would it include?
Filet Mignon, Baked Potato, Big Salad. Salads are always better when someone else makes them.

1) What is your usual Sunday routine?
The alarm clocks wake me up to be fed (my 2 cats Cappy & Lucifer) and depending on how early it is or how tired I am I'll either go back to bed for a little bit or pop on the TV so I can watch whatever I want. Then go thru the sale ads, out to the grocery store, any housecleaning that needs to be done then family time. Family time could consist of watching a movie together or pulling out a couple of board games. Sometimes Nick wants to play one of his video games with Jeff so I'll try to get in some scrapbooking!

2) If you have cruised before what will you do different on this cruise?
I think I want to spend some quiet time out on deck 4 on one of the lounge chairs, they were so comfy.

3) If someone said they would make your perfect meal what would it include?
First I would start with a cocktail, then an appetizer that would have shrimp in it (just not deep fried), then a light salad maybe, cesar or baby spinach. The main course would be a Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon with steamed broccoli and new red or fingerling potatoes and maybe a side of spanikopita, then dessert would be either a Creme Brulee or a decedant Chocolate Mousse with an after dinner liqueir.

Well I hope everyone had a good weekend!
We did the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge Mass. yesterday (a good day for it since it rained). The museum was nice but a lot smaller the I was expecting. If you are in the area it would make for a lovely stop but I wouldn't make a LONG drive to go see the place unless you are a huge Rockwell fan.

Today Nick & I were out with the Boy Scouts. One of the boys is working on his Eagle project so we were out cleaning and repainting some of the towns Historical Landmarks. Luckily it was a real nice day for it. Not to hot but a little breeze to make it quite nice.

1) What is your usual Sunday routine?
Read comics online - Read best buy ad, see what movies are playing if no plans

2) If you have cruised before what will you do different on this cruise?
No Idea. More Tours.

3) If someone said they would make your perfect meal what would it include?
Not sure. definitely sorbet.

1) What is your usual Sunday routine?Get up around 7:00. Earlier if I forgot to put cat food in the bowls before going to bed and Sam starts pawing my face. Leave for Sunday School and church around 8:30. After church we usually go out to eat somewhere (usually something quick), then will run an errand if necessary (Target, the Mall, etc.) then home. At home DH usually takes a nap, and I catch up on TV shows on the Tivo and knit. Sunday nights we watch Extreme Home Makeover together. Love it when they send the families to WDW!
2) If you have cruised before what will you do different on this cruise?Since we have never had a cabin with a veranda before, I anticipate sitting out there with a good book and enjoying the sea air! Might try out one of those chairs on deck 4 too. Hope to get in at least one trip to the spa.
3) If someone said they would make your perfect meal what would it include? I had a real TZ moment when I read Diana's answer to this, because in one respect, we're in total agreement. First of all, I would have a tossed salad with ranch or raspberry vingrette dressing. I LOVE a good salad, but hate having to make one! Then I would have some sort of mild fish (yellow tail, tilapia, or catfish), baked or grilled. New baby redskin potatoes, and for dessert, berry cobbler a la mode like what is served at Artist Point.

I'm completely with Diana and Mary on the salads. I love salads, but they are never as good as when someone else makes it. One of my favorites is the Quesadilla Explosion salad at Chili's. Also, we have a great local chain here in central FL called Crispers and they make the best salads.

I'll play too!
1) What is your usual Sunday routine? Even though I don't have to get up early my internal alarm clocks wakes me. Or do the birds chirping before sunrise wake me? Or could it be Chicklit (our cat) because she wants to be loved and fed?

Once I'm out of bed, I usually log on to see if Mary has posted her weekly cruise message. Laundry doesn't take a day off so I throw a load of laundry in before heading to the shower. Grocery shopping usually takes place on Sunday mornings. The rest of the day is never the same. Sometimes Tom and I go out for lunch or perhaps to a movie or just a walk around the mall.

2) If you have cruised before what will you do different on this cruise? This is our second cruise with SSMC05 being our first. I'll definitely make sure I read the Navigator to see what's going on each day. We still haven't decided if we'll have dinner at Palo during this trip.

3) If someone said they would make your perfect meal what would it include? This is a tough one. There are several things I like but most of all I prefer my own cooking. I don't like garlic and too many restaurants use too much of it when they prepare meals. One thing I do love is Butternut Squash Soup from Wolfgang Puck so that would definitely be on the menu. I'll have to edit my post because I can't think of anything else right now.

I'm so glad we are going to WDW in two weeks because I'm really in the mood for butternut squash soup! Annmarie

Annmarie they have really good butternut squash soup on the ship too! Warning don't waste your time trying the Campbell's Select Butternut Squash soup - it tastes like squash from a baby food jar - Yuck!!! :teeth:

Oh! I forgot about the soup on the ship! I liked that too! Tom bought me a can of the Campbell's soup. I said the same thing about the taste. I haven't eaten baby food in a long time but my goodness that was disgusting!

Had a great time in chat tonight - lots of DVC cruisers. There were so many of us we didn't even have to go to another room. If we did we would have left poor Karen with only 2 other chatters. :lmao:

Todd Loves crispers. I am more of a fan of Sweet Tomatoes or Jason's Deli.
Oh, I live for Crispers! I used to drive from St. Pete to Lakeland, just for a salad, when Crispers was new and they only had the 2 stores in Lakeland. Now we have one in Largo, so I only have to go about 20 minutes.

Good morning Member Cruisers
- we sail in 24 weeks!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Woohoo! 24, my new favorite number!!!

Busy, busy day around here. And it didn't help that Ian woke up around 5:30 this morning and wouldn't go back to sleep. I think he was just hungry. He hadn't really eaten since pre-lunch - he picked at lunch and barely touched his dinner. After giving him a bit to eat he did rest in his bed for a while longer but didn't go back to sleep. David made us breakfast a few hours later - Mickey Waffles.

Then he took Ian out for a little drive. We had a big meeting at our synogogue this afternoon - voting on ideology and direction it will take. (Both propositions failed so nothing is going to change, at least for a while.) I left David in the meeting and Ian in the babysitting room to go shopping with MIL. We hid a few stores in the mall and I walked away with 3 new dresses and 2 new purses, compliments of MIL. Now I need to return an outfit she bought me a couple weeks ago that I decided I don't like, the cost of which covers all the new stuff from today.

1) What is your usual Sunday routine? I don't know that we really have a routine around here. But when there's nothing else really going on, David will take Ian out for a few hours of "Daddy Time" on Sundays to give me a break. I think about doing "me" stuff during that time, but usually it's spent being domestic. I wish the laundry and dishes and such would do themselves, but somehow that never seems to happen.

2) If you have cruised before what will you do different on this cruise? We haven't been on a cruise since SSMC03 so I'm really not sure what, if anything we'd do differntly. I wish I could remember what NOT to pack, but since we'll be spending a week at WDW before setting sail I'm sure we'll have way to much stuff on the ship anyway. I'm already worried about stowing everything, especially the extra suitcase, carseat, and stoller that come with Ian.

3) If someone said they would make your perfect meal what would it include? Oh geez, I have no idea. But it would definitely include a mountain for FRESH BLUEBERRIES!!!
