Late Breaking news!

I just received an email from Sue Ellen @ Dreams and she said tickets for MNSSHP and MVMCP were ready for purchase TODAY!!!!!! :woohoo:

I just called 407-WDISNEY and purchased our MNSSHP tickets for October 26th. We are now officially ready for vacation!!!!!!! How many more weeks Mary? :guilty:

OMG! I'm glad I checked in before chat! I'm on hold right now. Annmarie

I was on hold for a few minutes and the reservationist said she couldn't believe how many people were calling. She said tickets weren't supposed to go on sales until Monday but they decided to put them on sale today and didn't think they'd get many calls! I told her the internet and Disboards are wonderful things!

FYI - Price for the adult tickets = $39.36 each plus $3 for shipping and they should arrive within 2-3 weeks. No AP or DVC discount for 10/26.

Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday!

Looks like it is a going to be a cool, rainy weekend here in Chicagoland.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning all! Chat was really fun last night, although it feel like I just left. :surfweb:

I'm off to the gym and then lots and lots of outside work today! :sunny: It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Good morning everyone!! Chat was really fun last night, even though I came late to the "party".

Well, Emily's recital is today, and now she doesn't want to go. I think that it was just a reaction to waking up a little crabby. Anyway, we have to have an early lunch, then head over to the recital. If possible, they want the girls' hair in big curls, but I'm not so sure that Emily is going to sit still for that. But, I'll give it a try. I figure that I'll put on one of her favorite shows to try to distract her.

But for now, I need to get back to the mountains of kids clothes still on the dining room floor. I was supposed to finish them last night, but I spend the evening chatting with a crazy group of cruisers!!! :rotfl2:

Morning All!

Just an FYI ~

MNSSHP Tix will be going on sale as soon as they get rid of their Tecnical Difficulties!

The CM said in a couple of Hours!

Shuffling off to Buffalo today so hope to get my tix before I have to leave!

Have A Disney Day!

Good morning everyone,

What time did you all end in chat last night? I left shortly after 1130, I think.

My granddaughters recital is May 13. They always make the girls wear their hair pulled back in a bun. This will be her last year with this particular dance teacher since the classes have been at her day care, but she starts kindergarden in the fall so her mom will have to find a new place. Sarah loves ballet. Everytime Einstein's comes on she jumps up and starts dancing across the room.

Amy, good luck on getting the clothes organized. My daughter gave me some to put on ebay. I hate taking pictures of clothes for some reason.

Everyone have a great day. Going to hopefully get the computer room cleaned today. Should have done it last night, but got side tracked :)

I think the reason that they are doing curls is that they are doing "On the Good Ship Lollipop", so I'm guessing it's to be like Shirley Temple. Emily just loves this dance class. It's after school on Tuesdays at her preschool. I love it because I don't have to cart her somewhere, I just pick her up an hour later from school on Tuesdays.

But, I need to get both girls signed up for swimming lessons this summer. Considering that this is FL, and we have a pool in our backyard, the girls don't know how to swim. Emily is very good at swimming around with her floatie swimsuit on, but I'd feel better if she just learns to swim. And, Madison is old enough to start learning how too. I think that parks & recreation have swim lessons, so I'm going to have to give them a call soon, since school is out in just a few weeks.

It sounds like I missed a good chat.

Had I known you were partying late, I would have joined you. After Walker's soccer practice and a quick dinner, I started getting ready for the crop I'm going to today. Naturally, I waited until the last minute to do so. So, I spent the night getting my thoughts together, selecting pictures and printing them all off. Still doing the last of the pictures this morning.

But I have 12 hours of uninterrupted time to work on Amy and Cheryl's circle journals and maybe, with any luck, I'll start on the album for the trip Cameron & I took in October. :thumbsup2

A busy day for Gary with soccer for Walker, Gary being soccer snack Dad, Cameron's 1st baseball game, Cameron going over to a friends house and all the other little things that will come up. Walker was complaining of ear pain last night too -- naturally, because we chose to not have his adnoids taken out last month and now I wonder if that was the wrong choice. So, a trip to the pediatrician may be in the works for them too.

Mary, none of these today :umbrella: hopefully. pixiedust:

Have a great Saturday everyone. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Good Morning All! Sunny day in MA today. I will be spending most of the day doing laundry then running errands. Have a good day everyone! Annmarie

Sorry I missed chat too! We had company here last night and they didn't leave until after 10:00 CT, so I figured most everyone would be gone. I hope to finish Mary's CJ today, but it will just be me sitting at my dining room table working alone.

I went to a scrapbooking class at JoAnn's on Wednesday and told the instructor about our CJ. She thought it was a really neat idea. Then she said, "That's kind of like that movie "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants!" :lmao:

I thought the curls might be because of the theme for their dance. Sarah would be in trouble trying to get curls in her hair. It is long, but fine and the only curls that stay are when her mom uses the sponge rollers.

I sure wish we had a pool. Especially since I don't work full time, I'm sure a pool would get plenty of use. I know the grandkids would love it too, but they would need swimming lessons. Jennifer tried to sign them up last year but the lessons were like at 5pm and she couldn't get home from work and picking up the kids in time. We have a community pool but you have to drive to it and I actually forget it is there, since I don't see it everyday.

Have fun at the recital.

WOW, a 12 hour crop. I haven't been to a crop in so long I wouldn't know how to pack up all my stuff. So use to having the crops at my house and having everything I need. No chance of forgetting anything that way. I once had a lady come to my house to crop and she had forgotten her pictures. Thank goodness she didn't live too far and was able to go home and get them. But then you have the problem of getting out of the house again. :) I just got the Mickey album from CM, so maybe that will motivate me to start on some of my Disney pictures. I will definately need more than 1 album though!

Mark tells me he popped into chat after I left - you all had a nice long chat.

Mary my scrapbooking is done on my dining room table too. Of course now that table is full of all our cruise clothes since we sail in 4 weeks!

Cindy - have fun at your crop!

Amy- the curls remind me of the Irish step dancers we see at Irish Fest. They always have those long flowing tight knit curls. Most of them do it with sponge rollers, but I did see one mom carrying a wig of curls. Guess since they have competitions all year it would work. I'm sure Emily will look adorable!

We were in chat late. I want to say when I finally got into bed it was 12:45. It was definitely well after midnight when I left. It was just me, Stacy, Mark, Curt and Karen burning that midnight oil. Jeff and Chris stuck around for a while too.

Amy, the recital sounds adorable. Good luck curling her hair! I've thought about starting Emma in dance in the fall after she turns 3 because like Carols grandaughter, when Little Einsteins comes on, she's June the ballerina and spins and twirls.

Both of my girls have taken swim lessons and Emma is a great swimmer. Julia doesn't know she doesn't know how to swim and won't let me hold her in deep water. So she tries really hard to escape and even goes underwater. Crazy kid. She'll be doing laps by the end of the summer. In the classes Emma takes for 2 year olds, the first thing they teach them is to jump in the pool. :confused3 At first I was like, huh? That's just not safe! But the reasoning behind it is they eventually get the instinct if they fall in the pool to swim right to the side. We have an inground pool, so this is really important to me. I mean, I don't want them to fall in--I just want them to be able to handle it God-forbid they do.

Cindy you are going to have a blast at an all day crop!! I was at one last month and it's such a good time. I never manage to get enough done though, because I'm such a chatter!

Hi all just checking in. I feel like I missed a lot in chat. I can never make it because I have to pick the girls up at gym and I'm never home in time. We have 4 gymnasts that spent the night and we are going to see the new movie Stick It today. About half of the team is going so it should be interesting. I might need a drink by the time I get home. :rotfl2:

Just called and got PS for LTT on the 26 at 4:20 so we will be seeing some of you there. I also got the rest of my ps for our trip. We are going to LeCellier on Friday night. I am so excited because we have never been there. Sat we are going to 50's Prime Time because it was closed last time and the kids love it there and on Sunday we are going to 1900 Park Fair. Should be fun. It is now starting to feel real.

Have a great day.
