Good morning Member Cruisers
- we sail in 26 weeks!

BTW, :cool1: 26 is my new favorite number!!!

Robin,

I totally understand about not going places because you know there is a lizard there - dead or alive. My youngest son was born shortly after we moved to Florida. We lived in an apartment when we first moved to Florida while we were waiting for our house in Michgan to sell. One day I went into check on Jeff in the crib and saw a little lizard sitting on the window sill. I freaked and call Joe at work and told him he had to come home and get this thing out of the baby's room. He told me it wasn't going to hurt anything. Right, but it is in the room with my baby!! He called the office at the apartment and they sent a maintenance man over. When he picked it up he informed me it was dead and wouldn't have hurt anything. It didn't matter to me if it was dead, I still wasn't going to mess with it. After being in Florida almost 25 years I still will go out of my way to walk around those little things. Of course, now my 2 yr old grandson loves to try and catch them. YUK!!! Thank goodness they are faster than he is.

Hope you can make it Cindy! Stacy I need to say thank you. When I signed up at Red Robin I got a belated birthday burger coupon even though my birthday was last month! Nice. So I asked Cindy if she can join me. :)

Cindy - to answer your other question. Yes - yeterday was the 6 month mark to cruise date! YEAH!

That's great! I hope everything works so that you Ladies can have a wonderful lunch today!

So today is critter day.
Let me start out that I'm originally a city girl so I have seen plenty of rats in my time (unfortunately) But after we moved to the country (ok not everyone considers this country but to me it is, compared to what I'm used to) when I saw a field mouse in the house for the first time it scared the c@#p out of me! :scared1: I'd rather deal with a cat sized rat then that little field mouse.
I'm not to kean on bugs either. Spiders used to be the worst but I've gotten better (except with the bigger ones).
My neighbors (whom I love) have these rose bushes that attract Japanese beetles (yuck) and every once in a blue moon one gets in the house!

First of all, let me add my name to those who have the cleaning bug. I spent the entire day cleaning the upstairs bedrooms, and am going to start on the bathrooms today.

Now, about crittters. Once when Ken was cleaning our garage, he found a dead rat (and yes, we're talking cat size!) We think our beagle was its demise. Anyway, he just scooped it up with a shovel and put it on the top of our very full trash can out back by the alley. About ten minutes later, a boy rides by on his bike, sees the rat, stops, and says to Ken "Nice rat." A few minutes after that he's back with 2 or 3 of his friends to show off his "find." :crazy2:

We have been Spring Cleaning inside and out!

Almost have the yard looking the way I want. The inside looks good! :thumbsup2 Just need to power wash the house, clean the windows and paint some trim on the house.

We had a great lunch! My bill was a whopping $2.43 :) Can't beat that! Cindy was also able to use her $3.00 off coupon for signing up so she got a savings too.

I got a great deal on some Spring/Summer work clothes as well. All in all a very good day!

That's fantastic!!!
So glad you two were able to have lunch together! And you are so right, you can not go wrong at that price! :thumbsup2

Spring cleaning has hit here too! I'm going to have to pick Diana's brain and learn how to become an ebay guru! :rotfl:

Yep, my $3 off coupon paid for my peach flavored iced tea and part of the tax. Not a bad savings.

The Disney store had a sale on all t-shirts for $5 each -- so I picked up 3 for Walker & 1 for Gary.

Mary & I also had our wedding bands cleaned. Much brighter now -- until I do some dishes that is. :sad2:

It was nice to get together and chit-chat without the use of our fingers. Great plan, Mary. We'll do it again -- how about next month when we have scrapbooks to exchange. :thumbsup2

Watch out for that ebay stuff, Stacy. Diana taught me all I know and it does become addicting. :teeth:

That is a definate plan Cindy! I loved getting together for lunch! Wish everyone else lived closed enough so that we could get together for lunch!

Lunch with a CJ exchange is a great idea!

I have been picking Cindy's brain about ebay. It's always nice to be able to find someone who is willing to share what works and what doesn't. Like Cindy said be careful ebay is addicting both for selling and buying.

Carol

I have picked Diana's brain so many times, it's not even funny. Just this past week, I asked both Diana & Gail for suggestions on one of my listing.

I am going to an ebay class Tuesday & Wednesday this coming week. A friend wants to get started and asked me if I'd take the beginner & advanced class with her. I don't really need a beginners class and unfortunately, the advanced class was cancelled due to the instuctor not being available. I am hoping to maybe learn something new (I'm sure I'll be bored with a lot of it, but hey, if I learn anything new, I come away with something gained). More importantly, if I like the instructor, I'm planning on finding out where he's teaching the advanced class and heading over there. ::yes::

It also gives me something to do during nap time. A little hobby of sorts. Since I can't go outside and am locked in with the kids (imagine what I could do gardening every nice day for 2 hours :flower1: but that's not an option. I still have to supervise, whether the kids are awake or no) and not a big fan of TV -- especially daytime soap operas and talk shows (is that what Jerry Springer would be -- is he even still on :confused3 ), it passes the 2+ hours they are asleep. With Walker being gone next year M-F for school, I know I"ll go crazy without something to do.

Mary and Cindy glad you had a great time.
No critter visiting for me. Knock on wood!
Spring cleaning all week. Planted my palm trees this week. I bought 2 singing pink flamingos to go with the palms. :teeth: They sing in Jamacian . Just have mulch to finish up for this week. The pool will be in May.
Diana love the shop! :thumbsup2

I saw that you planted your Palm Trees Chris - look great with your Disney statues! Sure hope the weather stays mild like it has been for them.

I have the kind of palm trees that you plug in and they light up. No watering or planting - just plug 'em in! LOL

I've been spring cleaning since January since I had to stay put in Michigan.

I was told that I have to stop by sometime Chris and show you my "Disney blue Taurus". I couldn't take the uncomfortable seat in the other car anymore so I went out and found myself a car.

I saw the plug in palms on sell this week.I might get those for the back yard!Don't tell Mike.
Mary,ya I talked to John about your new car! :teeth: Poor guy having to loose his car for the summer.
I saw the new family walking home Sat.
Hope you can finaly relax soon!

Right now we are averaging 32 posts per day. If we keep this pace up we'll get to 11,712 posts by sailing day. However as we learned last year the closer we got to sailing the more we post. I think we could hit 20,000.

20,000? Good Googily Moogily! I have a hard time keeping up now - I'll have to quit school and tell all of my clients that they're on their own when we get to that point!

:faint:

Cindy, I now understand why Mary was giving you grief about how fast you can exit chat. You left Karen and I spinning you were out of there so fast. You must have an EASY button that allows you to say good nite and exit all in the same motion.

:rotfl2:

Yeah, I was still "talking" to you, Cindy, but you were gone before I even looked up from the keyboard! Oh well - It gave Carol and myself a chance to talk one-on-one for a few minutes! :chat:

Good morning everyone! Happy Monday!

Welcome back Amy & Chris. Hope you enjoyed your weekend at WDW!
