party: Happy Birthday Mary!! party:

Well Nick & I stopped at Diana's house last night to pick up MaryJ's circle Journal. We got a tour of the house and got to see all her great Disney stuff!
Emma was a lovely little hostess too. Julia was cute as can be, runny nose and all!

MaryJ for this being your first time scrapping I'd say you are off to a darn good start! Loked the book and your pages!

There's a DFW Dis Meet at the end of April, if you're interested. Unfortunately we can't make that one because of prior commitments, but we do try to go whenever there's one scheduled.

Here's the link to the meet thread. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1061156. We really have a great group of DISers in the area and our meets are always lots of fun.

Thanks Robin! We can't make it either, with the wedding and some work travel we are pretty tapped out for weekends until after the cruise.

I think you and I should get "Stupid pancreas" shirts made up! :lmao: I never heard anyone else even make reference to their pancreas before. I'm always saying that with people going HUH? Pancreas?? You have problems with sugar? There's something wrong with your pancreas too? :confused3 :headache:

The Diabetic Duo!!! :rotfl:
(Must be 'cause we're both so sweet... )

My favorite is when folks call it "Sugar Diabetes" - Like there's a "Salt Diabetes" or something. :sad2:

If you are looking for a cruise that will be full of fun I think SSMC06 is the right choice. With such a great group of DISers and all the fun that DVC has planned for us I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Not a doubt in my mind! I mean, I'm bummed that we'll be missing the Double Dip (we've never been on a 7 night before), but there was never any question as to which we would cancel. I know that we'll love every minute of SSMC06 - and that the DISers onboard will play a HUGE roll in that. Especially now with that martini tasting party... :woohoo:

Guess we'll have to make the supreme sacrifice, and try to schedule a 7 night for some other time! pirate:

Good morning. Where is everyone? Well I hope wherever you are and whatever you're doing, you're having a great time.

David and I have an engagement party to go to tonight. We're leaving Ian with the neighbors. If the older daughter (17) didn't have other plans, it would have been the first time someone younger than mid-30's (my sister) would have watched him. Instead though, the younger daughter (15) and mother are going to stay here with Ian. I think I'm glad the older daughter has plans. I now wonder how parents could leave their babies with me when I was 12 years old. There's no way I'd do that with Ian.

I know how you feel Robin. I can count on one hand how many times my girls have been with a babysitter. The first time Emma was left with someone was when I was in the hospital having Julia. We have no family at all around here, closest being 2 1/2 hours away. But tonight we are going to the Billy Joel concert in Syracuse, which is about 2 hours from here. My friend's daughter, who has watched the girls about 3 times before is coming here. She's 17, fully certified, and an all around great and responsible teen ager....but she's not a mom and doesn't have those mommy instincts. What comforts me is that her mom, who I'm very good friends with is like 1 mile away and will be here in 2 seconds if there is a problem, and Julia will be in bed an hour after we leave. I don't worry about Em as much, because she can talk and say what she wants and needs. I'm still going to be nervous all night though.

Enjoy your night out!

Yup, Stacy now knows exactly where I live! (note to self....move ASAP! :lmao: ) It was great to be able to show my Disney stuff to people who actually appreciate it and don't think I'm a nut job. Emma sure had a great time visiting with you guys. Julia---well, she's just being Julia as always. We really need to work on her people skills. :rotfl:

The Diabetic Duo! I love it!! :lmao:
You mean I really can't have Salt Diabetes?? Darn, I think it would a lot easier to limit my salt intake than sugar!

Sorry to say I don't come in here often, so if it's been discussed I'm sorry. However I was wondering if anyone knows, perhaps who already have done a Member Cruise, knows when we will get more mail. I want somthing to make it a reality it's coming! :teeth:

Thanks!

Last year we got Cruise News emails I'd say probably about every two months from the time we booked until about a week before we boarded. We got maybe 5 or 6 emails. I just looked and the first Cruise News for SSMC06 was dated 1/3 so based on last years timing we should get another one any second now, but this is all based on my speculation of course! :confused3

Diana, have a great time at the concert. I LOVE!!!! Billy Joel. I saw him in concert probably 12 years ago or so when I was living in Tucson. Drove up to Phoenix (2+ hours) with a friend to see him and it was so worth it.

We've left Ian before, but not with any family. I think Ian was about 2 months old the first time and boy was I anxious that day. I've got some cousins here but my sisters are both down in San Antonio. And I just wouldn't leave Ian with David's family. But the woman my father was dating when he passed away is like a surrogate grandmother to Ian. She's got "first right of refusal" when it comes to watching Ian. Unfortunately she's busy tonight. But she'll be here on Wednesday. (David and I have season tickets to the summer musicals and our first show is next week.)

Even if you did move I would be able to find you! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: (psycho music playing in the background!)

Well I guess we will have to visit more often and work on Julia's people skills. I'm thinking a pool party would be appropriate! I'll bring the Dip & Chips! :rotfl2:
