Woo hoo - I received an email response back from DVC regarding my request to have Ducky Williams on the cruise. Granted they didn't promise me anything, but they did say they would pass it on to the planning committee and that they are glad we're sailing again. I'm glad they emailed me back!

The Lion King was phenominal. It was everything everyong said it would be and more. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Ever.

I know what you mean. I just think that there is a class & elegance about the design of the Magic and the Wonder that no one can beat. They really are beautiful ships. And, I've seen pictures of the neon inside of some of the other lines and think "OMG, I'm glad there's no neon on DCL". Some of it was WAY over the top!!!

Which is exactly what Disney was aiming for when the designed the two ships after the great ocean liners of the early 20th century. Those were elegant ships. Nowadays, most ships are nothing more than floating hotels.

For you scrapbookers, Creative Memories is coming out with a 12x12 Disney album. It will be available for purchase in April. I haven't gotten my "Scraps" (CM consultant magazine) so I don't know yet what it looks like. Hopefully I will like it since I have SO many Disney pictures.

My CM Consultant just told me she hadn't heard anything about a new album......hmmmm

I hope I like it too. I have several 7x7's waiting to be done -- I thought instead of doing a big album, I'd do several 7x7's instead.

I'm sure I can find some use for another style.

Sandy - We went to the Lion King and had front and center balcony seats! They were great and the show was awesome! Glad you enjoyed it!

I will have to find a CM consultant when the new 12 x 12 Disney books come out.

Other cruise lines - We like DCL because of the characters, entertainment, kids program, Castaway Cay and the chat boards

I LOVED Celebrity!!!! The food and service way surpasses DCL (sorry) . The entertainment was for the adults and not the kids. They did have a good kids program.

NCL is nice. I would cruise with them again. Smaller ship and the service was good.

Carnival NEVER again! Food sucked!!!!!! Too much of a PARTY atmosphere for me (24/7). I do like to sleep and relax while on vacation.

If we do Alaska it will be on Royal Carribean most likely. They seem like a good mix for families.

I've heard that it is going to look exactly like the smaller Disney album, red with the black Mickey head. I don't know if my source is correct, but I guess we'll find out soon enough!

That would be awesome. I'm sure somehow I could tie the smaller album in with a bigger album of the same type. Like maybe an index of some sorts to keep the trips all separate.

I just got my magazine and sure enough there is a 12x12 Disney album. It is cranberry with a black foil mickey in the middle of the cover. Cute, Cute, Cute. The description says that the inside cover is an exclusive print. They don't show it though. It states this has been the most requested album in CM history. It won't be available for customers to purchase until 5/1. Customers can purchase one at half price in April by hosting a Get Together and having a certain level of sales. Ok, enough advertising.

Mary, unless everyone else comes here, I don't know enough interested to formally host a party. I tried to get a group once, but no bites. And, I'm not one to force the idea on friends or invite everyone in my address book. I get enough of those type of invites of my own to not want to do it to others.

But I do know my CM consultant considers 2 a group. So, if you are interested, let me know and when she announces it, I'll invite you over.
