Emily is going to love BTMRR & SM. I remember how Snow White was a thrill ride for her with her arms up in the air. And, don't even think about the fun she had on Goofy's Barnstormer.

I can't wait to hear how she likes it. Amy, are you planning a trip there when we meet for dinner? You know, we could head over to MK after/before dinner and I be more than happy to stay with Maddie so you and Chris could experience Emily's first thrill with her together.

Oh, I know that she's going to love them! She was SO disappointed a few months ago when she was just a teeny-tiny bit too small to ride. She actually pouted and started to cry. Poor thing!! But, with this growth spurt, I think that she's really going to be tall enough now.

We are planning on going over to WDW at least on Sunday. It's Founder's weekend at our college that weekend, but most of the events are on Friday and Saturday, so I think that we'll spend the day over there on Sunday. What are your family's plans for Sunday? I'm sure that Emily would love to spend some time with you guys. We know how much she loved to follow Cameron around.

Hi Carol - Yes, she does love dresses that twirl. They don't HAVE to twirl, but she loves them when they do!!! She is just going through this phase right now where I have to force her to wear pants when it's colder outside. She's lucky that she lives in FL. I can't imagine what she'd do if Chris and I had stayed in Chicago.

Thank goodness for a Nana that sews!!!!

I remember when my DD wanted dresses that twirled. She would call them her "far out" dresses. When I told her pre-school teacher that, she said "Far out? Didn't that go out with John Denver?"

What's the scoop with the t-shirt design, pricing and all. I must have missed something because I can't seem to recall where our group is in this process?

T-shirt discussion:


Cheryl - what have you found out about the sites. Which is the best to go with? How many colors can the design be? What are some ballpark costs? I think we need to know these questions before we can move forward.


I really don't care for the designs I put up with the first time around. They were more just to try and get something started. I'm hoping others will chip in with designs as well. So please ignore the ones up on the site.

As I said I didn't care for some of my early designs. Here are two more for consideration (if we can do a photo design). One of the reasons we need to know what kind of designs can be used.

Here's my suggestion for a logo for the front of the shirts. I think the one thing I didn't care for last time was we didn't have anything on the front and they looked bland. To answer a question that I know will come up. I tried to put in the initals so they would all be right-side up but the tool I used (which was a circle text wouldn't allow it. I tried to do half and half and it didn't look right. Anyone who wants to tweak with it is welcome to.

Those aren't bad at all, Mary! I'll try to come up with something this weekend. I'm somewhat creative, but not that much!!! We'll see.

We're home from the Winter Carnival at Emily's school. Boy, for winter, it was hot, hot, hot down here!! They ended up running out of soda & water!

Now, I'm off to go shopping with Emily and my mom to look for dresses and fabric for new dresses for Emily.

Mary, I really like the one with the ship. I'm not sure about the font though...or maybe it's the coloring of the fonts? I do really like it though, I just think somethings a little off for me.

I LOVE the front graphic, but (and you knew there was a but) can you make the resort names font in the same burgundy type color as the straps on the life preserver? Or change the coloring on the life preserver? i know I'm being picky, but I think that is absolutely perfect for the front!!

I know, I should probably try to come up with my own idea before I crititize someone else's!

For the front are we talking the whole front of the shirt or just over the left chest area?

I like the life preserver for the front. To make it simpler what about not listing the resorts.

Gail - my thought for the front was just in the chest area. We could go with or without the resorts. My thought process was that with the resorts it would look different than the official DVC logo. Another thought would be we could take out the resorts and list the DISboards in a semi-circle under it. I'll do a mock-up of that and you guys can see what you think.

YES!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!

And I was imagining it as a small left side chest logo, kind of like where "Members are Magical" on the SSMC03 shirt.
